Baby Stroller

Yes I know I’ve been missing but I will explain later in the post. First though a baby card I made for the latest addition to my family and after so many boys we now have a girl.

I used a LOTV image and paper piece the pushchair. The sentiments are from Simon says Stamp and I think the flowers are theirs too. Did go overboard on the flowers must remind myself less is more.

I’ve been missing because I had a belated Birthday with my brothers and as many nieces and nephews that were available nearly all have families of their own. My sister and her family were going to her sons but that fell through due to COVID and they gatecrashed which was a lovely surprise.

So the previous weeks we been giving the house a good sort and my craft room desk was cleared to make way for a bar. Now I need to return my craft room back but the party has left me exhausted, a good exhausted but I’m doing a little at a time so this time next week I should be up and maybe not running but definitely hobbling.

Baby Gender Reveal

Oh heck I thought I published this, I received the Gender Reveal stamp set from Simon Says Stamp from their latest release.

It has this really cute pram stamp which this time I coloured up in pink and made it the main feature of my card. You can buy the dies for the stamp set too but I’m writing this up on my i pad and will link to the store later. There’s some really cute dies to buy too.

I used their swirl background die plate and a few Holiday shapes to give the card some background interest.

Rock a bye Baby

This is one of the new baby digi images from LOTV and whilst I love the image the ocd part of me wasn’t happy with a floating hammock. To rectify this I looked in all my dies to find a way to make it look it was hanging in branches. In the end I found this weeping leaves ones from Memory Box or it could be PoppyStamps they’re kept in the same box. I had to cut it twice so I could layer some over the ends of th hammock. In the end I’m quite pleased how it turned out.

The pattern paper is a leftover scrap from Echo Park and the sentiment is a very old LOTV stamp.

Baby Shelf

I'm late I know but I load my cards old school with a camera and they have to be lighten a bit (I don't have any fancy lighting gear either) and resized before upload to blogger. Not helped that the PC is in dining room corner and hubby is trying to decorate at the same time I'm trying to do stuff.

So my card is made by using the Freshly Made Sketch for last week I think, image is from LOTV digi images, papers are probably Echo Park but its lost it cover and it seems I only have a few scraps left.

The scallop Frame is from MFT and the sentiment die is Simon say Stamp and I decided on stars because there are stars in the parcel forgot they were blue.

Welcome Little One

Just a quick and easy card this time using Simon says Stamp Bunny Wishes, yes there are Easter eggs but they got this cute Mummy bunny and a bunny with balloons which I have used before.

I cut out using their Stitched Circles and the die sentiment is theirs too. Papers could be Echo Park an old baby boy one and the clouds are again SSS Picture Book Sky Background die.

Somebunny Love You

Rather than do the alphabet for my Mo's card Thursday I may have to use new images for March, I have at least three new ones to me just have to find another one. It may not be new to the shop but new to me, even though I have been so lucky to be on Mo's Dream Team I still don't have all the images.

So today I'm using the adorable Somebunny Loves You and yes the mixture of fun flock and flowersoft as been dusted off from Christmas to make a fluffy ears and slippers.

I think the papers are Echo Park Hello Baby It's a Boy paper pack love this set more than the girl one. The sentiement is an old LOTV one and the flowers are a random set of dies with out a name. Finally finished with a couple of corner diecuts from La LaLand.

Baby Girl on the Blankie

So I thought this month's card Mo's Dream Team I would start with the letter B so that would be Baby Girl on the Blanket but I don't know how to keep that going with two fabulous new images in Mo's Shop.

The papers are Echo Park Hello Baby, the scallop border is an old Lawn Fawn one and the Hearts again its an old die from Penny Black.

The sentiment is a LOTV ones that you can now buy the Digi for although I still have the stamps. Ribbon out of my endless supply.

Naps and High Five

I had coloured this cute little elephant and he needed to be turned into a card. He is a Lily of the Valley digi image with his ballon paper pieced with a scrap of card.

The cute sentiment is a My Favourite Things one. I'm thinking possible I used have backed the image mat with match paper of the balloon. Too late now.

I'm of to a crop this morning and few scrapbooking pages to be done.

Spit Happens

This little chap is far too cute to have spit in his title but it obviously Spit Happens means something to Mo. It's not the first time of using this adorable image but you have to be quick because he's in the retirement list. Hope Mo redux him or her, you can easily change the tshirt and bunny colours.

I've used Echo Park Hello Baby It's a Boy papers and I remember I have a set of scallop rectangles from Lawn Fawn. To be honest once I laid out the papers and layered the baby it didn't really need much else. So I used one of the sentiment rectangles in the paper pack and felt my job was pretty much done.

Baby Boy 1st Birthday

I love using Mo's Bike Babe, he makes a great card for a 1st Birthday. I had some old Echo Park papers to use up and they worked a treat.

The stars are some cut from the Simon says Stamp Holiday Shapes and out of some scraps of card. I also used the Wonky Rectangles.

I have an old die with numbers and the today, the circles and scallop circle are some old Stampin Up punches still going strong.

There's going to be a new challenge on Mo's Challenge blog this weekend so look out for that.

Chubby Baby

Mo Manning's babies are a must have and there is so many gorgeous ones, my card today is using one of the Diaper Crew and the best bit they can be unisex.

The card may look busy but it actually very simple, the papers are Echo Park and my Stitched Scallop Border is a MFT die. The only embellishment is the large sentiment die from Simon says Stamp Welcome Little One and I love it comes with backing so I can add some 3d foam squares to give it more focus.

It's been a bit chilly here in the UK, a few flurries of snow but nothing more but for some reason my body is struggling to keep warm even though the house temperature is cosy,  I need to hurry up and make my new crochet blanket bigger to help me keep warm.

Moon Baby

Not only do you get this adorable Moon Baby but you also get a night sky background that I've used previously for a Christmas card. I've paper pieced the moon not sure my colouring is up to such a large open space.

I used the Lawn Fawn Heart Background die and their Stitched Scallop Borders and I think the papers are an old Lawn Fawn pack. The scallop square is a nestabilities. I think the stars are MFT but I can't see if they are stitched or not so they could be Spellbinders.

Finally the sentiment is an Whiff of Joy who are no longer trading.

Baby Washing Line

Last Baby card of the three, this time CAS. I used the Simon says Stamp Stitched Rectangles to make a frame for my MFT Bundle Baby Clothes washing line.

Of course I used the clothes from the die set with the scraps left over from the other two cards and I inked round the edges with a bit brown ink to give them a bit of shadow. The pegs were a bit tricky to stick but worth persisting.

I love this sentiment from MFT Welcome Baby clear stamps especially since the baby hasn't been born yet. I did stamp it before adding my washing line and frame.

Baby Blankie

Remember the baby card I posted on Monday and warned that I made three well his the second, this time with Mo's Baby Girl on a Blanket. You can see I paper pieced part of the blanket.

I still used Echo Park Sweet Baby Girl and the MFT crochet border round the image mat. This time I used the Penny Black Heart Bow die but I cut in white and pattern paper and trimmed the hearts to fit over the white hearts.

The side border is with an old Marianne or Joy die and the fishtail banner was made with a square punch. The sentiment is MFT Welcome Baby stamps about the only thing that isn't retired yet.

Pushchair Baby

My friend asked for a baby girl card to give to someone who was leaving to have her baby, so I felt I had to be careful what sentiments I used. I'm also aware the cards I like don't always appeal to everyone so I made three!!!

Lets be honest Baby cards are the cutest and easiest to make, this card is the first of the three using LOTV digi image, its such a shame they don't do them anyone. I would have had to stamp at least the image at least five times and again to paper piece the pram.

The papers are Echo Park Sweet Baby Girl and the border round the image mat is the Crochet Border from MFT not sure if its still made along with the Upsy Daisy dies for the flowers. The corners are Filgree Corners from La LaLand again not sure if they still make it.

Finally the sentient is a WOJ which again is no more but it was just what I was looking for.

Baby with Giraffe

This was another image that I was thinking of using for a 1st Birthday but wasn't in keeping with the theme, the actual card can't be posted till Tuesday and I will do my best to make sure I post it, certainly was out of my comfort zone.

So I used the fab Echo Park Sweet Baby Boy, really good do with this set to scrapbook but will need the larger size. The Stars are MFT and the scallop border I think could be Lawn Fawn

Nearly forgot the main part of the card the image, its from Mo Manning called Baby with Giraffe. Finally the sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp die sentiment.

It's been a real busy week and this weekend I'm at the Scrap Cafe Retreat although we have to leave early on Sunday to celebrate a very special cute baby's 1st Birthday, trust me the photo's will follow after hearing part of conservations between my Sister and her Daughter!!!

Baby Steps

My son asked for a 1st Birthday card that's why I put the name on. Since babies round this age have started walking I thought Mo's Baby Steps would be ideal for the card.

The papers are Echo Park Sweet Baby Girl and I failed miserably with matching the flowers but its not too obvious. Flowers are MFT Stitched Blooms but I can't see stitched marks in the leaves so I'm not sure what I used!

The name and sentiment was made with Memory Box dies, the number is a retired number set from Simon says Stamp and the today is a die I picked up from a craft show.

I've been colouring up some of my favourite Mo's Christmas images, I really need to make a serious start on my Christmas cards.

50dollar_voucher_600px

I made this card before I went away but didn't write my post, I'm now kicking myself because I need to remember what I used.

First off I love 6 by 6 Doodlebug papers they are perfect for card making, I love them so much that two packs arrived while on holiday luckily the order went through letter box. The pack I used was So Punny.

I finally got my hands on the Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Giraffe, I kept missing out everytime he came back in stock, so quick he's back in stock. I inked the edges especially as I was placing him on the yellow background. I cut out another head which is partly stuck at the top of his head and a chopped up tiny 3d foam in the centre of his head.

My borders are Simon Says Stamp Stitched Borders and the sentiment is Simon Says Stamp Welcome Little One die. I love that using the background to the words helps to be able to add 3d foam easily. Another die to buy real quick before it goes out of stock again.

Finally the flowers, I think I used the Simon says Stamp Hydrangea die with their Forget Me Not leaves. The yellow centres are Simon Says Stamp Stitched Snowflakes and the circles in middle are made from Tim Holtz Thinlets Gears die, its actually one of the cogs waste.

I think I've remembered everything but let me if I've missed anything.

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

Baby Giggles

As soon as the word die I was waiting for arrived in my craft room, it needed to be used and since I had Mo's Happy image coloured up I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

The papers are some old scrapbooking ones from Pebbles but I cut them up into 6inch squares because I felt they would get used more as card making. I paper pieces his nappy so it matched the papers.

I used MFT Stitched Scallop Circle Frame, the scallop border is from Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 4 and the corners are La LaLand but not sure if it still available.

The stars are from Simon Says Stamp Stitched Bundle of shapes and the sentiment is the die I was waitting for from Simon Says Stamp Welcome Little One.

Sweet Elephants

I managed to get in my craft room yesterday but I almost wished I didn't because things just didn't go to plan which carried on through the day, all sorts of little things were going wrong.

I really wanted to play with some new Simon Says Stamp dies, the ones I used in the end was the cute Happy Clouds which I also cut in grey card so I their eyes were softer than black.

The next die I wanted to use was the Sweet Elephants and I cut them in grey, patterned paper also black for Mama Elephant's eye. To make the sentiment I used the new Oh Baby words but I carefully fussy cut of Oh from the background part.

The Welcome was stamped with Simon says Stamp Baby word stamp set then used the Stitched Banners to make my tiny banner. The papers are Echo Park Sweet Baby Boy, I found that some of the papers would work for a baby card when you don't know the sex of the new baby.

Opps nearly forgot the Simon Says Stamps Stitched Rectangles, a staple of my craft room.

A bit of dodgy photo, I had to straighten it and it made it seem even more crooked!
