Butterflies

Ok not my best work and it looks pretty more in real life. Stencilled the brick wall in matching colours.

The butterflies are Newton Nook and I love the sentiment that comes with it.

Ive struggled for a few weeks with my shoulder, it settled a bit now but I’m still looking for mojo.

Born to Ride

A couple of Men cards that I made using a couple of old Stamping Up stamp sets. Took some inspiration from Pinterest too.

I wasn’t that keen on the embossed one but the other one is Ok. Why are men’s cards so hard and I have more men on my Birthday list than women probably why my mojo is missing and a dodgy shoulder.

White Rabbit

Did I mention there was still a bunny card in my drafts and here it is. I have cheated and only coloured a bit in his ears and his nose.

The sketch was Tuesday Morning sketches from a few weeks ago but wasn’t keen on the white space so a few few mini flowers and leaves to break it up.

Bunny is of course from Rachelle Anne Miller but one from her MFT stamps and I got the matching die.

Went to Wisley yesterday, we picked a lovely day for it but does mean no crafting was done.

Footballer

So this was the card I decided on for my Gt Nephew, it’s a Mo Manning image and when I brought the new footballer this came with it so I’ve got an image for next year the same but different.

I kept it simple boys cards are just as difficult like men’s cards but I used the Cloud Edges die from MFT with a scrap of blue patterned paper for the sky.

The sentiment is a Creative Expression die and a few tiny stars from the Holiday shapes dies from Simon says Stamp.

Happiest of Birthdays

Remember the background stamp Spring Flower from the new release from Simon says Stamp well this time I coloured in the flowers and leaves.

I used watercoloured pens having decided it would be easier than pencils. Again I used the Freshly Made
Sketch but missing an element because I didn’t check.

I wanted a good size Birthday sentiment to fit the stitched rectangle and to bring a bit of interest a couple of Flickering Butterflies.

Altenew Cosmos

The Altenew Create a Flower dies are expensive but they are fun to make I just hope I can think of crafty ways to using them rather than collect dust.

This one is the Cosmos one and I thought they would work better on a slimline card. The embossing folder is an old Sizzix one I brought an Altenew one recently but it was far to busy.

I made the stripy paper by cutting strips of white and blue and the sentiment is a Newton Nook one from their butterfly set.

Flying Birthday

Decided to post the card that didn’t make it as my nephews card. Ki guess I’m a bit disappointed int the splatter stamp it doesn’t really look like I splattered ink which is what I hoped for. Do like my plane die that turn out well, yes it is a bit fiddly the wheels and propeller.

The cloud edges and plane both from MFT and the sentiment on the plane but I think the one on the clouds are Simon says Stamp Tiny Words.

New Home

I needed to make a New Home card luckily I had just recently received this cute house die in a craft order, it’s an Impression Obession die.
I used a stitched rectangle die and matted it to help it stand out. Used an old Memory Box branch die to hang the house from which now I thinking why.
I can’t remember where I got the sentiment from as it’s tiny it could be Tiny Words set from Simon Says Stamp.

Ooops Another Bunny

I’m sorry I forgot about this bunny from MFT and I used their sketch with some old Doodlebug paper.

The stitched rectangles and the leaves are also MFT but the tiny scallop border is an old Lawn Fawn. The birthday sentiment is from the MFT but another stamp set.

All the Feels

Simon Says Stamp sent a fabulous background stamp Spring Flowers from their All the Feels release. It’s especially handy when making cards that have to be made quickly.

I stamped the stamp with a white ink pad and WoW bright opaque embossing powder and I was inspired with this weeks Freshly Made Sketch but realised I missed an element. I decided it worked better without it.

I used the leaves in the Simon Says Stamp Circle Leaves die carefully cutting them off the circle. I did have lots of leaves dies to chose from but thought these match the stamped ones better. The sentiment is another Simon Says Stamp die, the white background helping it stand out.

I hope you all had a good Easter and so pleased for the lighter evenings.
