Post Box

The challenge on Less is More is for Snow and one layer, now I thought I might be pushing my luck with my flowersoft and fun flock. Then I realised I actually used a large stitched die and stuck it onto a card, which to be honest its what I usually do since a lot of my LIM cards end up in the bin and this way I don't waste so much card.
So although my postbox from Molly Blooms Stamps (not sure they are still available) is one layer I'm not sure the whole card would count or am I splitting hairs.

Ovals

Oh I'm a bad Design Team member this is similar to the card I made a couple of weeks ago for Everybody Art Challenge but when I saw Ovals I had to used the Floral Oval and when I was checking out what image to use I saw this Molly Blooms Post Box and thought wouldn't that look great in front of the oval.
I tried to add gingham or spotty paper but it just didn't look right, I've just made next weeks lets just say at least it isn't red!
Once again I've used the Cuttlebug snow falling folder for inside the oval and the diamond folder from Sizzix which is from the Hello Friend bundle for the outsidde. I stuck some gingham ribbon to a wide red one to make it larger to make more of a impression. Sentiment is LOTV and the snowflake is a cuttlebug die must some flower soft and funflock mixture to finish.
Do pop over to check out the team and their fabulous designs.
I'm just grateful that I managed a card yesterday and I was pleased with the result and another nearly finished but they're DT cards one more to do then I can play and do what I want.

Another Post Box

Quite a lot of sketch challenges have a circle mat for the main image and most of my coloured up images either haven't enough room round them to cut out a circle or their better fitted in square or rectangles.
But I overcome this with the Molly Blooms Post Box and overlapped the circle and placing the image off centre.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out, the snowflake embossing is a Sizzix folder and snowflakes and border are Martha Stewart, the sketch is Sketch Saturday this week. A lot of stickles and gems later it was finished although I feel it needs a sentiment somewhere but not sure where.

Gosh I'm cutting it fine with my Less is More card, this wasn't my original idea but when I saw the stamp I was going to use it was going to take longer than I thought so I wasn't going to join in.
Then I was searching for a border punch for my Sister and found it at Sir Stampalot, I couldn't just leave it at that. So this fabulous Molly Blooms Christmas Post Box fell into my basket. I thought it wouldn't take long to colour especially if I use copics. No it would've been quickier with my pencils.
I have layered it and cut out the letter slot, although its not that obvious. The card is from Craftwork cards and the sentiment which will used quite a lot in the next few months is from Stampin Up.
I'm also entering it into the Cute Card Thursday just in case I'm too late.

Now you thought I forgot but here's the random thingy to say who won the fabulous High Hopes Halloween Stamps.
