Doodlebug Giraffe

wed-newchallenge-header

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Use More Than One Stamp Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is

Anything Goes

We are showcasing Doodlebug Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

I made this card before I went away but didn't write my post, I'm now kicking myself because I need to remember what I used.

First off I love 6 by 6 Doodlebug papers they are perfect for card making, I love them so much that two packs arrived while on holiday luckily the order went through letter box. The pack I used was So Punny.

I finally got my hands on the Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Giraffe, I kept missing out everytime he came back in stock, so quick he's back in stock. I inked the edges especially as I was placing him on the yellow background. I cut out another head which is partly stuck at the top of his head and a chopped up tiny 3d foam in the centre of his head.

My borders are Simon Says Stamp Stitched Borders and the sentiment is Simon Says Stamp Welcome Little One die. I love that using the background to the words helps to be able to add 3d foam easily. Another die to buy real quick before it goes out of stock again.

Finally the flowers, I think I used the Simon says Stamp Hydrangea die with their Forget Me Not leaves. The yellow centres are Simon Says Stamp Stitched Snowflakes and the circles in middle are made from Tim Holtz Thinlets Gears die, its actually one of the cogs waste.

I think I've remembered everything but let me if I've missed anything.

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

Such a sweet card, Debby! Your combination of papers, dies, scripts, and colors are just perfect♡ I especially love that you used yello in your script diecuts, which gives the card totally lovely mood.

This is a wonderful card Debby using this cute giraffe and I can understand why it keeps selling out, and the central panel looks great with the pretty scalloped edge, and the added flowers and leaves are so elegant and beautiful. I love the colour combination too. x

This card is the sweetest!! I LOVE that giraffe and I love that you tucked him behind the sentiment like that. Very clever. I agree with you, I'm in love with word dies with shadows right now. Not only does it make it easier to pop up, but it also makes the sentiment stand out more.

I just love putting giraffe images on baby cards. Yours is just the cutest! Love the papers, too. I think I need to look for some of those Doodlebug 6 X 6 packs.
