Stocks Up

I've had this image for a while but I thought he was a bit too complicated to layer, yes there was lots of tiny bits but it wasn't that bad after all.

Nearly forgot the image is of course by Mo Manning and the little chap is called Stocks Up (boy) there is a girl version too.

The papers are either Echo Park or Carte Bella Autumn ones which I think work as boys colours.

Since the papers are very busy just a few Holiday Shapes Stars and the old sentiment that sits on my desk.

Arrived yesterday was the Crafters Companion Gemini which I brought at the Make it Show, my sister made me do it. Logically she was right sometimes my shoulders complain when cutting dies. I've brought the large one but seeing it on the TV  I'm thinking the Junior would have fitted better in my craft room.

I haven't tried it yet and I will have to move my craft room round a bit, don't worry since I brought it I will give my honest opinion even if I hate it!!!!

This is a wonderful card and I love the MM image Debby, so beautifully coloured and really dimensional, and all the complementary colours and patterns of paper go perfectly. I did the same as you and bought a large Gemini and wondered whether I should have bought the Junior, but I did decide that as I owned some A4 sized embossing folders it would be silly to buy the smaller and not be able to use them, and I don't have room for more than one machine. It does cut really well, but as a result of the high tension the plate I keep as the cutting plate has warped quite a lot in just over a year although I do try to twist and turn it. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy using it and it does save on the cranking. x
