Lily Fairy

Finally I got round to using the LOTV Fairy, I brought it from Etsy as a Digital Download because I have to stamp the image five to six times to be able to layer and a digi is much easier on the hands.

Now my card was inspired by the Sketch Saturday sketch 548 which is just as well because with all those pretty flowers from the old Doodlebug paper there wasn't much room for much else.

I added those flowers that I used yesterday in red, if I tried to match the paper they would have been lost. Out came an old LOTV sentiment stamp. Once stamped I trim of the sides and add it to a red mat made by stamping on one side and turning over, once cut out.

This is my latest crochet project, its called Lost Garden from Helen Shrimpton. It is a paid pattern available on Ravelry. I'm using Stylecraft Special DK in Cream, Teal, Cypress and Duck Egg. I'm not on the corners to square it up.

What a sweet image Debby and love the colouring and the pretty background all over floral works beautifully, and love the scalloped mat the cute little lady has been put on to. The red flowers go beautifully with the background red, and with the complementary red layer, and a lovely ribbon to finish it too. x

Sorry Debby, I suddenly realised that I didn't comment on your wonderful crochet. That look so complicated and I love the shape and the mix of colours is gorgeous. You are very clever to be able to produce something as wonderful as this. x
