Stocks Up
I've had this image for a while but I thought he was a bit too complicated to layer, yes there was lots of tiny bits but it wasn't that bad after all.
Nearly forgot the image is of course by Mo Manning and the little chap is called Stocks Up (boy) there is a girl version too.
The papers are either Echo Park or Carte Bella Autumn ones which I think work as boys colours.
Since the papers are very busy just a few Holiday Shapes Stars and the old sentiment that sits on my desk.
Arrived yesterday was the Crafters Companion Gemini which I brought at the Make it Show, my sister made me do it. Logically she was right sometimes my shoulders complain when cutting dies. I've brought the large one but seeing it on the TV I'm thinking the Junior would have fitted better in my craft room.
I haven't tried it yet and I will have to move my craft room round a bit, don't worry since I brought it I will give my honest opinion even if I hate it!!!!

My Pink and Main Happy Camper is bright and busy so I kept everything else simple. Lots of colouring with my Polychromos pencils, I love Prismcolors ones but they do have habit of breaking while the polychromos are a bit more hardy.
Since it feels like Spring here in the UK (we will pay for this later) I've used a sheet of spring colours from Echo Park Spring Fling.
I know I've only recently used the Simon says Stamps CZ Designs Good Luck but it worked a treat with my camper or caravan as we call them here in the UK. The strips where the white card meets the pattern I used the Simon says Stamp Scallop Stitches Borders and cut a strip on my Trimmer.
Do you use Instagram ? If so please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

Guess Who
Not much was going on in my craft room last week but at the beginning I did manage to use my coloured owls, this was the first card I made with them.
I'm using a couple weeks old Sketch Saturday sketch that I had turned so it would work with the Simon Say Stamp Birch Column that I trimmed to make a single tree. I used their Slopes and Hills die to make my snowy background which I used the MFT sentiment from Warm and Feathered
Hugs.
The Happy Birthday sentiment was from Simon says Stamp It's No Secret which I brought to go in circles. The heart sky was a bit of MFT Sweet Stack that was left over from another card.
By the way the Red Cardinal's post I missed a part of the wings when stamping but because it still looked like wings I didn't really notice it till after I made the cards.

Red Cardinal
One of the Christmas Challenges that I've been keeping an eye was for Peace, so I made one used some old Inkadinkdoo stamps. I will confess that there is a major problem with my stamping but I'll wait and see if any one can work it out.
The sentiment is from an old Simon says Stamp which I can't find on their website. The main mat is cut from MFT die. I also did some splattering of the red ink but the jury is out on that one.
The sore throat hasn't got any worse and its been about four days so I reckon anything nasty would have come out by now so I'm off to the the Make It Show this morning.

Not more Crocheting
I've very nearly finished my Lost Garden by Helen Shrimpton, I'm on row 91 with possibly another 3 to do. This is the stage I find the blanket too heavy and I've had to have a few rest days since I over did it. Just need to pace myself with other project.
I really am going to make a stash blanket of odds and ends instead of altering a pattern than forget what I did I've chosen the first 4 rows of a square from Jan Eaton Book of 200 Granny Squares. I can't remember whats it called but I've mark the page.
Meanwhile my Thursday Night Blizzard Squares are nearly adding up to be put together. It whether I do 7 squares by 9 squares in which case I need 8 more grey ones but I can't decide whether to 8 by 10. It would mean quite a few more squares to make in both colours.
Here's a close up of the two colours.
It's been a bit of struggle this week barely any time in my craft room card making and now I have a bit of sore throat lets hope that doesn't turn into something nasty. I was really hoping to be able to go to the Make It Show on Saturday.

Giggling Fairy
Another card with a sketch that went off plan. Although don't you just love this cute Giggling Fairy from Mo Manning.
The papers are Echo Park, I think they are some baby girl ones but not their latest which I believe as arrived in my craft room. The scallop frame on the image is from MFT and I 've used Nuvo Shimmer pen for her wings but I not sure they show up that well to see.
Flowers and Leaves are unbranded and the sentiment is an old LOTV one that I stamp twice once on the reverse of pattern paper to make a mat and once on white that I trim down a bit.

No Stamps Allowed
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Black/White + One Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is
No Stamps Allowed
there are so many products we can use for this challenge, stencils, dies, flowers, stickers etc
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! The most awkward thing of a card with no stamping is the stamping but it gave me the chance to used the brilliant Good Luck die from CZ Design at Simon says Stamp.
And I also use perhaps my favourite dies from Simon says Stamps the Stitched Daisies, my first card a blending a bit of yellow ink on the tips of the flower and the mat I planned for my dies to sit on.
The daisy sits on the leaves from the Cluster Leaves and the Outline Cluster Leaves which I cut them from different green card.
Since I love the daisies so much I made another in white but this time I used the Simon says Stamps Falling Heart Stencil to emboss with but I recommend to cut with the Stitched Rectangle before embossing so you don't lose definition.
Finally I used the Painted Congrats! die and I cut it twice but now I have photo the card maybe I should have done it three times to help it pop.
I've had a pretty busy weekend which always leaves me a bit worn out and today I've woke with a sore throat fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse.

Candycanes
I'm still managing the odd Christmas card now and again with the help of a couple challenges this one is for ABC Christmas Challenge for Candy and then with the Splitcoast Stampers Sketch SC736.
Although I added a stripy background using Doodlebug Christmas Town. I also used Simon says Stamps Stitched Rectangles, Stitched Circles and Stitched Banners. Now in the case of the stitched banners I used a die from Simon says Stamps Bundle of Shapes to cute the end of the banner at an angle that was needed on the sketch, the other end is hiding under the circle.
Now the fun stuff I used the Simon says Stamps Candy Cane die, I drew round the outline shape and then stuck it on and trim if necessary. The gave them support and somewhere for the red inserts somewhere to stick. I love that the bow came separately with die and can be used for other things.
I hadn't planned on holly but a nice red finger print needed to be hidden and you can't just have one bit of holly, I used Simon's Holly Fanfare. The pearls were in my stash but you could easily die cut them from the die or use Nuvo drops.
The second photo was to see whether people preferred my crooked straight photos of my card or one that is definitely crooked.

Tillie
The Scallop Frame is from MFT and so are the flowers this is the first time of using, the centres made with Tim Holtz gear head thinlets. There are a couple of cogs whose waste are circles and they fit perfectly for flower centres.
The large Birthday sentiment is from Simon says Stamp which is called No Secret.

Black/White and One Colour
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Interactive Card Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is
We are showcasing Avery Elle Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them usedBlack White + One Other Color
you may also use skin tones
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! I can't believe how quickly I made this card, in fact my Avery Elle Wonky 3d Bow was the practice one with a scrap of card I hadn't put in my scrapbox but it turned out so well I had to use it.
The Quilted Heart Background from Simon says Stamp is turning into a real favourite in my craftroom, I do prefer to use it with a stamp positioner.
To make my ribbon to go with the bow I used the Simon says Stamp Sentiment Labels, I had to cut three strips because one was enough for the length of card so there's a join under the bow.
I needed a sentiment since stamping one directly to the card wouldn't work, I decided to use the Painted Hugs again from Simon says Stamp.
Since it worked out a very quick card I decided to make another in Navy and Yellow for the Less is More Challenge 8th Birthday challenge although the Navy looks the same colour as the one above.

Red CAS
I made this card a couple of weeks ago but I just can't work out whose sketch. I know there wasn't a white border or that the card should be framed but it suited me.
The Wonky Rectangle is from Simon says Stamp, actually I think it all SSS, the flowers are Poinsettia Parade and I've used their Stitched Banners.
Finally the word are Tiny Words Christmas.
I tried to make cards over the weekend but most ended in the bin, so I gave up and yesterday I was here. The clue they are made with lego.

Musical Tweets
Finally used the other Tweet Friends from My Favourite Things stamps with dies and why have one birdie when you can have two. Before I forget the musical notes were stamps with the stamp set.
I cut the hearts out of a sheet from My Favourite Things Sweet Stack using Simon says Stamp Sentiment Labels, love that they graduate without having to think about it.
Once the strips were stuck down I then used the Simon says Stamp Wonky Rectangle to stop it looking a bit too plain and the tiny sentiment was again using the Tiny Words.
The heating is back on and hopefully I will get in my craft room and make some actual cards, I've been hiding in the living room with the fire on. I know its not really that cold but I'm the one who gets cold in hot weather.

Mum and Dad
Even though my Mum and Dad are no longer with us I still make them cards, this time it's for the Wedding Anniversary which was yesterday. I should have made an all white one with lots of pearls because they would've been married 60 years.
I decided to used the Simon says Stamp Quilted Hearts stamp simply because I love it and its stamps beautifully. These Stitching Butterflies are one of my favourite dies from Simon say Stamp but I do prefer to used their Adeline Butterfly die's body.
My sentiment is using Simon says Stamp Always and Forever stamps and dies with an added embossed sentiment using Tiny Words.
Finally added an heart using Simon says Stamp Bundle of Stitched Shapes and my stamped heart background was carefully cut out using Simon says Stamp Stitched Rectangles.

Ballet in Purple
My DD love purple so in the end I decided to give this card to her for her Birthday. The card is crooked the middle mat was put on at a angle something I wished I hadn't when it came to photo it.
The beautiful image is from Mo Manning called Ballet Practice, I love that its a more grow up image. I'm trying to use up some old pattern papers and I think I used two different pack of My Favourite things ones.
The flowers were made by stamping and embossing some scribble flowers although I can't work out or find the ones I've used.

element, slider, pop up, there are lots of different techniques we could use!
We are showcasing Lawn Fawn Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! I think you can add Interactive card along with Arty card to the list of cards I prefer not to do!!! Although I enjoy making the scene with Lawn Fawn Village Shops Stamps and Dies, I also used Lawn Fawn Spring Showers dies for my clouds and Sunshine.
The road and grass hills were made with using Simon says Stamp Stitched Slopes and Hills and the sentiment and my Ice Cream Truck is made using the Lawn Fawn Slide on Over Lawn cuts dies. My Truck runs on a five pence piece.
Sorry for the quick post its a bit chilly on the main PC, blogger doesn't like my i pad, lack of heating keeps setting off my Raynards but the gas man will be here in half an hour.

Roses
My Simon says Stamp Card kit arrived just before the bad weather hit and I found some time to use it. Although I wasn't sure what I was going to do. Love the roses from the Stamp set Love Always and the large stamp Rose Lattice Background.
I stamped the roses in coloured inkpads, once in green and then in the pretty pink. Once dried I cut them out and layered them.
The lattice of Roses I stamped directly to one the pattern paper that came with the kit. Finally used the Simon says Stamp You're Doing Awesome die. Remember I cut off the doing for my card I posted previously. I think this is a great sentiment die for someone who are on a tricky, challenging path in life at the moment.
I used the same stamps for this card and I was sort of following a sketch but it doesn't seemed to work out as it looked in my head. Do love that lattice stamp in red though. Oh the hearts are Simon says Stamp Holiday Shapes.
I'm feeling a bit chilly at the mo, the heating cut out yesterday. It as been sounding like it was struggling with the weather last week but luckily it decided to wait till it warmed up a bit. Have to wait till Wednesday morning to be fixed.
