1st Birthday.

I do'nt make cards to order, I was asked once and I thought it would take the fun out of making them. I make cards that I love and if I put them in a baggie with envelope and give them to Sis or my Mum and if someone buys them well thats a great bonus. I really do admire those who have to make cards to feed their addiction but at the moment I don't have to. So when I was forced to make a card to order, I had put it off till now when I had no choice but make it and by the end of it, I had an awful headache because I was so stressed out whether it was good enough, I moved paper dozen of times, moved the flower so often that I lost count and I'm still not sure about it.

So when I finished making it I closed the craft room door and escaped.

I'm laughing, Debby, about your escaping after you finished; you're too funny!!! I have been there many a time, but even just when I'm giving a crafty friend a card, not because it was commissioned! It's really laughable how we stress ourselves out, isn't it?!!!
Your efforts however resulted in an absolutely spectacular card, in my honest opinion! I LOVE it & you've inspired me to see if I can emboss some flowers (since I don't have any that came that way) with my Cuttlebug embossing folder! Thanks, I'll see if it works!!! ;-)

Gorgeous card Debby, love the papers and the 2 cute images. I know what you mean about making cards to order. I never know if the people really like them or not, I would rather make what I like and let people choose from them. I'm sure your customer will love this card.

Its such a gorgeous card, you should be really pleased with it, its lovely! I'm sure the receiver will be really pleased. I do know exactly what you mean though - as soon as it is 'for' someone, a whole new set of pressures decends. What if they don't like it? What if its not what they wanted? I am exactly the same! You don't need to worry in this instance though - its perfect! ~x~
