The Kiss
Two more pages of my parents renewing their vows, still using Carpe Diem from Simple Stories but the first one is from Kaiser I think. My friend and I were looking at the new papers that Lorraine had at The Scrap Cafe crop didn't I mention she has a shop, but the words were perfect for the layout and had to be used.
I now wish I had put the Magical more central but its probably well stuck now.
So here is the group picture of my brothers and sister, the title is a reminder how my Mum loved her soaps and I'm pretty sure there was an Australian one many years ago called Sons and Daughters on at lunchtime that she used to watch.
I have a couple of more and all the photos I wanted to scrap are done but you will have to wait till next week.

Really lovely pages.
Two fabulous layouts, Debby. I love your sentiments on both of them and there was indeed an Australian soap called Sons and Daughters back in the 80s. Hugs, Lesley
Wonderful layouts Debby - and such sweet memories. I remember you posting about this celebration originally - very touching.

Lovely layouts to store those special memories Debby and the nice bright colours seem to be just right for such a happy occasion.

Lovely layout Debby... and such a great record of a happy day. You're quite right Sons and Daughters was a soapie here in the 80's, apparently it was popular in the UK too. It had a lovely theme tune, and your post prompted me to go and check it out. I thought how appropriate the lyrics were to this layout and that you might like them so here they are (sorry if it makes this comment too long)
Love is very strange, it can come and go
It can happen when you are young or old
When it comes, it comes from nowhere
When it comes, it changes your life
Sons and Daughters
Love and laughter
Tears of sadness and happiness
We will find out our sons and daughters
Are what, we too, were once about
Love can happen now, and it happened then
Wondered at the time what love really meant
When it came, it came from nowhere
When it came, it altered my life
Sons and Daughters
Love and laughter
Tears of sadness and happiness
We will find out our sons and daughters
Are what, we too, were once about
Donna xx
