Since it the first Saturday of the month is time for a new challenge on Penny Black Saturday Challenge and we're looking for Tree's or Nature.
In my brain I got stuck on tree's and forgot the nature bit. I used the blossom part of the Stampin Up Sheltering Tree but I made sure I stamped a lot of my Penny Black image so I could cut out the flowers to add to the stamped blossom.
The sketch is inspired by scrolling down my card sketches board in my Pinterest. I knew I wanted to add the Tilted Sentiments from Simon Says Stamps and when I added the ribbon (which the camera has turned into some random colour) there was a pesky corner that annoyed me.
So I added the calliope flowers from Simon Says Stamp but cut it twice once in white, the other pink which I cut the flowers out.

Today is NSD and I've tidy up my desk so that today I can scrapbooking. There's lots of challenges around but I've decided to continue using the photos I have already sorted out.

This is a beauty Debby...love the way you framed the image with the extra flowers and the blooms added the special touch!!! My camera does that changing color thing too. I have to either get a new light or take them outside. Frustrating!
