Lavender

.

I've lost what day it was and nearly forgot that its Tuesday and its a new challenge on Everybody Art Challenge which is for Sequins
I found out that in this mixed box of coloured sequins that there was the right colours to match my papers before I deciding on my card. Once I realised there was I knew I could use my unused Lavender die from Memory Box.
The papers are Kaiser Violet Crush and you know the pages with words that I always seem to have difficulty using well I had a light bulb moment and decided use the word page for my background.
What was tricky to make sure I had some words showing that made sense before using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Frame but once that was done the rest was easy including the large die in the Bundle of Shapes to make the large stitched lavender background..
Now I have made the lavender heads in lavender card but then I found some flower soft with bits of pink and lavender in and with a lot of breath holding because I thought I mucked the whole card but I liked it what a relief. Just added the sequins with a touch of glossy accents and job done.
So its your turn I hope you can join us this week and don't forget to check out the team.
Hope you had a good Easter, yesterday was beautiful warm spring day and the stick that had been planted in my garden five years ago produced some beautiful Magnolia blooms. No cards made but did finish two layouts that I hadn't finished. Today I shall make a DT card and just play.

This is a really lovely card Debby and the Kaiser papers work beautifully with the die cut lavender, and those added sequins and the flower soft covered flowers are great finishing touches. Love those stitched rectangles too. x

What a wonderful use of the word paper.I have a huge section of that in my 12x12 scrapbook paper holders. I think some of it is even is smaller font like yours...and would work for this. Brilliant idea, Debbie!
The lavender flowers are perfect with this!
