Pals

This is what I've managed to turn out for the Sketch Saturday sketch for this week, although there is a few more stars and the ribbon has replaced one of the mats. Maybe the Memory Box branch with some punched flowers on wasn't on the sketch either but I think it turned out OK.
The papers are Doodlebug do love their papers always seemed to use most of them up, I think the current pack is my second pack of them.
I'm a bit behind on my cards this week and none will get done today. Later we are off to Brighton to St Dunstans where Dad had a weeks holiday and came back with a spring in his feet. He was registered Blind through having Macular Degeneration. In order for him to continue to do the things he loved he had a electric, computer style magnifier which also change background and font colours. He's last one is not that old and it seem a shame to just chuck it away so we asked the Blind Veterans would they like and they said yes and today I get to drop it off and see where Dad stayed.

I found if I copy from a published post Mr Blogger will post but he won't let me copy or paste in HTML which is a pain when doing a DT post with loads of links. But at least I got my signature back.

I have had a few weird things with pasting in HTML lately but managed to sort them out eventually one way or another. Gorgeous bright card, love the branch, funnily enough saw mine the other day and thought I must use it again. Enjoy your day out

This is beautiful Debby and I love that sweet image. The papers are gorgeous and I like the woodgrain background which goes perfectly with the MB branch. I'm sure St Dunstans will be so pleased to have the magnifier. Have a good afternoon. x

Hi Debby. My computer crashed when I got to this post. Do you think your own pc problems might be connected with my crash? This week's challenge at Sketch Saturday has been popular and it's always a pleasure when you play along with us. Your card is as lovely as always and one can never have too many stars!!! Hugs, Lesley

My FIL had one of those machines as well. We donated it back to the Institue of the Blind. They refurbish them and give them away to those in financial need.
Glad to hear you are seeing that yours will get used too.

Another lovely card!
