White Christmas
A few weeks ago I saw a sketch on Mojo Monday that I had an idea for but my mojo didn't have the time or wanted to do it. It stayed in my mind till I actually made and although this wasn't quite what was in my head its close and I think it turned out well.
The embossing folder is Whimsy from Lifestyle and a placed on a pearl on every dot, good job I got the pearls cheaply from e-bay.
The corners are a Joy die, I don't know if anyone has problems with these painted type dies but I find if I used a bar of soap that I used years ago that has dried out ( I used roll my embossing tool in it to help embossing vellum for parchment craft) over it this seems to work. Not sure what anyone else can used cos it must have taken about five years for it to dry out, glad I didn't chuck it out now.
The poinsettia I think could be Spellbinders which I embossed as well so that is why there isn't much of a curl of the petals. (I also have Marianne Pointsettia dies)
This time I used gold pearls for the centres and the sentiment is LOTV just the ends made into a fishtail using a square punch.

Oh wow, so elegant Debby. Another classic card.
Brilliant card Debby! I love the white on white and such a beautiful design too.
I've got the same die and do agree that it's tricky to get out - I use waxed paper from Joanna Sheen which works a treat. As you say it'd be a long wait to dry a bar of soap out :)
Hugs, Di xx
Hi Debby what a fab card so elegant! I used wax paper for tricky dies too! Susan x

Stunning card Debby, I love the splash of colour with the pearls
This is so beautiful Debby. Love the design and the 'splash' of gold really makes it pop. Have you tried those dies with baking parchment.I use that for my most intricate dies (worst offender a Cheery Lynn Doily die)- it works a treat and you get a pretty vintage looking die cut too.

Your card is so white that I can't see it. Has it melted into the background? Hugs Christine x

This is so beautiful! I have problems with painted dies too. I recently bought some Marianne Design dies (for the first time), the pink ones, and I ended up with a pink edge to all the white die cuts I cut with it! I'll have to try the soap trick - thanks for the tip!! xx
a beautiful all white card, love all the pearls

A lovely card, Debby!
very elegant and classy card.
greetings from Ann
Beautiful and I love all the pearls.
Mmm I am getting rather annoyed with dies at the moment, to me for the price of some of them, they should cut perfectly, without having to use any additional items, really annoys me.

Stunningly simple xmas card Debby hugs Rebekah xx
What a stunning CAS card and am loving the idea about the soap too, as i have real problems with the MB Frostyville Wreath die, i just need to find some old soap now.

You are definitely inspiring me with these white on white cards of yours Debby. You are genius at creating such striking makes. I am pretty sure the poinsettia is a Spellbinders. I'm going to go and play with mine now. Hugs, Lesley
