Flowers
I can't believe how time is flying cos its time again for Everybody Art Challenge and this week its flowers. Ive used the cute Stampavie stamp her knobbly knees do make me laugh.
The papers are Kaiser and Martha Stewart punches for round the oval mat and for the ribbon strip. Little EK success flowers.
Do hope you can join in this week and check out the team for some fabulous samples.
Also I'm re-drawing the candy from a few weeks again you can find the post here.

Touch of Blue
I had Tilda ready to be placed on a card just waiting for the right sketch and this time is was Bev sketch at Just Magnolia but I decided on just white card with a touch of blue for a change.
I do enjoy making these white cards cos I can use my favourite punches and embossing folders and the job is done. The snowflakes have been glittered and the sentiment is a craftwork card using Stampin up punches again.
I confess to have brought quite a few new stamps from several companies but I'm so disappointed with a couple of them. The images are so beautiful but the size of the actual image are so small especially for layering come to that it must make it more difficult to colour. I guess I'm going to have to check the dimensions before I buy and if they don't have them I don't buy them. I'm being more swayed using digi images, one I can have the size I want and it doesn't hurt to print several images on a page unlike stamping.

A Sugar Bowl Sweetie
I'm going to have to be more prepared with dark mornings and miserable weather because photo this card this morning with the light on is a bit of headache trying to get the white looking white. Anyway I don't think it did too badly with this Sugar Nellie Christmas Fairy.
I've used the Sugar Bowl sketch with Nitwit digi papers and then out came the Martha Stewart snowflake and I love the holly punch too at the moment.
I had to put the cuttlebug corners on cos the plain corners bugged me. I then flocked the trim of the fairy's skirt and jacket when that was dry I then placed the wings but had to wait for the silicone glue to dry before using glamour dust over the whole her wings. Really like how the flocked worked but not sure you can see it a bit like glitter and the camera.
I had a lovely day with my Sis had planned to colour loads of images but I only managed 3! Did a bit of cross-stitch we also went to a craft shop but it was shut due to Southern Electric maintenance and the fact they had no electric. But its OK my friend Nikki came round a dropped of a Stampin Up order!

I can't believe its 10 years since the awful tragedy of the Twin Towers. I still remember the shock of watching the events unfolding.
My hearts goes out to the families and friends whose lives were never the same again.

Try Again
The Winner of my EAC candy hasn't been in contact and its been ten days so I was going to draw out another name but Mr Linky has done a runner. So I'm going to have to re-do it again. So just add your name to this Mr Linky
Delicious
So when I found out that this weeks challenge on Penny Black Saturday was Delicious all I could think of was food possibly since I'm on a diet I crave for nice bit of cake but its far too many points.
I've used this cute Penny Black stamp that I got from Simon Says Stamps, I've been after it for a while and was really pleased I managed to get it.
The papers are My Minds Eye and the good old EK sucess funky flower had another outing. This is quite clean and simple well for me it is.
Loved everyone who entered last week create a scene and look forward to the entries this week.
I'm spending the day with my Sis so hopefully Mr Blogger behaves.

Up in the Clouds
Whoops running late this morning, the card hadn't been photo so it was a good job it wasn't too dark to take it. This is using this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday and using a Sugar Nellie stamp. Seeing has she was standing on a cloud it seemed only right that she had a few clouds to keep her company using a MFT die.
The papers are Nitwits remember reading they were having a sale so I popped over to have a look and you can see I didn't leave empty handed.
The flowers are roughly the same shape as those in the paper and there is a holly leaves on it too so I used the Martha Stewart Holly punch for the leaves, I can see it being used quite a lot in the next few months.

Sunglasses maybe Needed
Well this turned out a bit brighter than I imagine but we certainly need a bit of Sunshine here. I finally got round to using the Pink Ink Sketch it looked nice and easy till I tried to put all the papers together.
The cute Hippie Digi is from Paper Shelter and the papers are Cosmo Cricket Delovely. I had to keep changing the papers because they swamped the image but I was surprised by the time I finished putting swirl and flowers on it doesn't look half bad. Of course it look better in RL but thats camera for you.

Simon Says Multifold
Hope you enjoy the Blog Hop last week at Simon Says Stamps, back to normal this week with a Multifold Simon Says Stamps challenge. I'm afraid I took the easy option and made an Easel card with the fabulous My Minds Eye papers Lost and Found.
I cut out the the Adore from the underneath my image mat and popped it on some sticky fixers for a little bit height. Checking out my Sarah Kays images at the moment which are still available at Simon Say Stamps.
Did have a play with quite a few punches and dies too. The Martha Stewart Cherish punches and the one I call my Wrought Iron Fence, the Doo Hickey swirl die from Magonlia and the Cuttlebug corners. The flowers are from Simon's huge stock of Primas which I finish with coloured pearls.
Don't forget to join in and you could be in for a chance for a prize of:-
I'll be back later to link up with the Simon Says Stamps Store its having a bit of maintenance at the moment.

Autumn
It's Autumn at Everybody Art Challenge and its certainly Autumn here in the South of the UK, its wet and windy and on the chilly side.
But it does give us a chance to get out the rusty browns, oranges etc for this week challenge. I blew of the dust of some of my Sarah Kay stamps and using some Kaiser papers which had the perfect colours for this challenge.
I apologise for the what looks black card stock but it in fact brown but my camera obviously not keen on dark brown. My leaves are Sizzlit from Stampin up so are the flowers but using a punch. I love the Martha Stewart deep edge trellis punch.
Now don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog to check out the rest of the teams fabulous samples.

Season's Greetings in September
I love this sweet angel from Mo Manning and I enjoy making this card using the sketch on Mo's DP2 Challenge blog.
The papers are the Authenique Wonder pack again and the poinsettia is a brought one with the centre taken out and I used McGill punch for the centre with gold coloured pearl to finish. I did sneakily add a bit of ribbon but I won't tell if you won't.
The sentiment is a Woodware one and a cuttlebug corner and job done.

It's a blue, blue Sunday
I had lost the papers I had originally coloured this Penny Black Mouse to, so I had to track down some more to match and there lies the problem. I found this one piece of Basic Grey which matched perfectly, lucky for me the Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week looked like I could get away with just one piece. But I had a real job to find a background mat but found the plain blue in another BG pack.
The sketch got turned and then my ribbon slipped down a bit which I think worked better for me. The flowers looked boring so I popped them through the cuttlebug using the swiss dots folder. But it still looked plain then I remembered that Simon Says Stamps had popped some black gems in my order as a Thank you and as you can see they worked brilliantly just want it needed.
I had a fabulous day yesterday at MJ All day crop, I did get some scrapbooking done but none quite finished which I hope to do today.

Create a Scene
Day 2 of full Internet connection am I a happy bunny. Today I've had to schedule my Penny Black Saturday Challenge post cos I'm off to MJ all day crop at Thatcham hopefully to do some scrapbooking.
But the challenge this week at PBSC is to create a scene, afraid I'm going to put this in the same category of distressing. But I use the pack of clear stamps called Xmas Snapshots I made this scene although the snowflakes are not Penny Black.
By the time I cut out all the individual pieces I'm glad I kept it quite plain except for plenty of glitter which of course the camera doesn't pick up.
This week there's a fab stamp which I don't have which now I want and some fabby ribbon. Do check out the team though they've made a much better job than me at this challenge.

A Wee Christmas
Whoo Hoo my internet stayed connected all day yesterday and I managed to visit quite a few off my blog list so hopefully fingers crossed that it stays that way so I can catch up.
So todays card is the sketch from Dawny at Papertake Weekly and I used a digi image from Cuddly Buddly called Winter Fairy, (sorry but I've search the website and can't find her now). The papers are Authentique Wonder and because the papersare a dirty cream than white I used a blending tool and Antique Linen distress pad to take off the white stark from the paper I used for my image.
I didn't leave much room for embellishments because I think my image is a touch too big but it does mean it all fell together really quickly.

Penny Black Christmas
First off I must apologise for Mr Virgin who now claims that I do indeed have a problem which will be fixed in 48 hours so we will wait and see. But it does mean this has to be a quick post cos I don't know when my broadband is going to disappear again.
This is my Less is More card this week in fact I blame the challenge for this Penny Black Stamp its not usually my style but I had seen stunning cards made with this style of stamp.
The challenge this week on Less is More is to chose three previous challenges, I have picked.
Off the page week 6 which was going to be my image but I couldn't bring myself to do it so I settle for snowflakes going off the page.
Use the colours of your Countrys Flag week 27, which in my case red, white and blue.
To use Ink week 28, I was going to use a brayer but that one went in the bin so I settle with inking with a blending tool.
I think she works better on a tall card although now she floating!
Just what to thank you for the lovely comments and wishes and fingers crossed for normal service to resume soon.

Now back to my card which I had a bit mad on the embossing, first off the sweet image is a Stamping Bella another one of the teacup ones although she in a teapot. I used Swiss Dots, and Divine Swirls from the Cuttlebug especially love the the swiss dots on the flowers. The butterfly is die and embossing set which I forgot I had and the of course my favourite corner is in fact Cuttlebug too. The body of my butterfly is actually a Magnolia Doo Hickey part of their butterfly.
From here you need to go to the super talented Sarah for more inspiration :-) I would appreciate a comment if you would like to leave one
Blog sequence list to be posted on the challenge blogs for referral

Pretty in Pink
So there I am blaming Mr Blogger yesterday well I have to apologise to him because it was Mr Virgin who couldn't find anything wrong with my Broadband other than I couldn't get on the WWW. Of course Sods Law its now working but if I disappear you know why.
Now you may be wondering why I'm posting a layout and not my challenge card for Simon Says Stamps Challenge. This is because we having a Stamptember Blog Hop but it doesn't start till 5pm UK time well I hope thats right so you will need to pop back then.
Now back to my layout I saw this sketch on Scrapology and I knew what photo to use
The papers are Crate paper I think it could be Blue Hill, the flowers are almost a tin of Primas and the pearly swirl is from Prima too they actually came from Simon Says Stamps who have an amazing collections of everything Prima. Apart from plain cardstock and my Martha Stewart deep edge doily punch, few leaf punches and a compass thats it.
It looks even better in RL but why oh why does the camera screw up the quality of a layout I'm really pleased with.
Back at 5pm.

Blue Unicorn
I saw this Unicorn on someone's blog and I just had to have him, he's from Cuddly Buddly digi images. I didn't realise how many layers he would take but I think he was worth it.
As you know its Tuesday so its time for a new Everybody Art Challenge this week its a sketch, I was going to add it to the post but Mr Blogger wouldn't load thank goodness this card was already a draft post.
I may have cheated with my butterflies and I also turned the sketch to suit the main mat.
The sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs, the butterflies are Tonic punch and Martha Stewart.
We would love for you to join us and do check out the team's fabulous creations.
Forgot to mention my purchase from QVC stamp around the page stamps arrived on Saturday and I was impressed how well my first attempted looked still not sure it would for cards but certain it would for scrapbooking, now I wish I brought that punch from the Glitter Pot now.

Pink and Orange!
I'm not happy with this card, I made it when I started to feel under the weather, not sure if it was the papers or the colours but I love Mo's little girl digi image.
I turned the sketch on Cute Card Thursday to make the card.
I carefully matched where the image is to place the verse underneath so you can't see it from the front.
Now I know I wasn't feeling well no way would I have left that blue card on the left just plain.
I don't feel so tired but my poor joints are not happy not helped falling in the back door but I don't think the weather is helping either.
