Cute Tilda

Another card I've made that I've had trouble to photo, which is a shame cos it's such pretty colours.
I've made this as a 1st Christmas card for A spoonful of Sugar challenge and the sketch is for this weeks Create4fun sketch. The papers are Kaiser that I've been hoarding since Ally Pally and the pretty flowers are Prima sent to me by Simon Says Stamps but the Pearl brads are from Hobby House. A cute new Tilda and a bit of lace and ribbon to finish the card.
Hopefully I'll get some cards made today for some DT work to leave the weekend free to get down to serious Christmas Card Making and I need to make some flat cards for cheap posting.
Now don't miss the Penny Black Saturday Challenge tomorrow, you'll regret it if you do and not forgetting Secret Crafter cos I love what I've made.

Snowflakes and Tilda

You wait for a bit of sunshine and it promptly takes the colour out of you photos even though I tried to photoshop it. This card I made for the Sketch Saturday Challenge and I used some Basic Grey papers so I could enter it for the BG challenge because the snowflakes have all been well and truly glittered. I've used the one of my new Tilda's aren't they cute, the ribbon and lace I found in one of my cluttered craft drawers that I keep promising to sort out.
So a really successful shopping day yesterday, just have a couple of things to get and it's just the big present for the Kids which usually is a list of DVD etc, I offer money so they can get them but apparently its not same if you don't unwrap them! I even brought the wrapping paper only to realise I have to make the tags another job on my list.
Miss Tag Along found a dress which she couldn't afford unfortunately it fitted perfectly and it had her name written all over it, we made a deal she will finish paying for it some time in 2011!!!!!!!!!

Carol Singing Mice

There's a great challenge this week over on Simon Says Challenge, Animals and to me that means Mice which also means Penny Black mice. Trust me I only like these critters on cardstock.
The papers are Glitz and you're going to see a lot more of it too cos I brought 3 sheets. I've used the icicle punch yet again, going to make sure I get my money's worth out of it this year. Various dies and punches for the snowflakes, which I've just sponged the tips to make them stand out then dusted with glamour dust.
Now don't forget there's a fab prize from Simon Says Stamps.
Another quick post today we off to Bluewater to do most of the Christmas Shopping, little Miss Tag Along is coming too, she needs a little black dress for the works do.

Just a note

Wasn't sure how I wanted the Friday sketchers sketch to work but I'm reasonable happy with this one. The image is an Elizabeth Bell from Ladybug and friends that I got from Quixotic Paperie . The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs from Zoe Pearn, the sentiment is from Butterfly Kisses and add some ribbon and job done.
I'm trying to get on top of all the commitments I've made so I can concentrate on Christmas cards another reason for the short post.

Tilda and Wedding Photos

I've used the gorgeous sketch on Just Magnolia from Mina, it's great for snowflakes. I did cheat a bit because the ribbon and border should really go under the mat but I needed something for Tilda to sit on. The papers are Bo Bunny and the spotting one it Kaiser. I was going to put a sentiment on the tab but love the snowflake on it.
Just a few pics of my niece who has a special place in my heart. I was only eleven when she was born and I remember telling everyone she was going to be a girl, I even crochet a pink poncho (it was fashionable at the time) before she was born.
Even though the weather was awful nothing could take away how beautiful she looked and even a power cut didn't spoil the day.

Early Sunday Morning

First I need to apologise for not getting around the blogs the last couple of the days, that is because yesterday was The Big Wedding, with only few months of planning its here.
Here is the card I made for them, Ok the green ribbon sticks out like a sore thumb but that's the camera is not so in you face in RL. Papers are Happily Everyafter by Cosmo Cricket and any excuse to use the fabulous stamps from WOJ.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid and meant I had to make a box, not a good idea with a headache, I always manage to get the lid wrong and it takes several attempts to get it right, probably why I don't make them that often.
So here's to the Happy Couple, Louise and Neil, may all your dreams come true.
This is Cain Manor where the Wedding took place and where we stayed overnight, you hire the whole house including bedrooms which you still have to hire even if you don't use them. Breakfast is going to be a 9am prompt and we're having it altogether, not sure how many of us are going to up for a Full English after a long night partying.

Moo-tastic Christmas

It's a double whammy challenge on Penny Black Saturday Challenge, not only a Man's card but for Christmas too. I so want to put a gem in the middle of the pinwheel snowflakes but it starts making the cards a bit girly but they so need something. The papers are Pebbles, I've only scraps left now but I determined to use them all up. The sentiment is computer generated and I've used an awful lot of glamour dust which I seem to be permanently wearing at the moment.
I loving being a Guest Designer especially has I know an amazing secret but you're gonna have to wait till next week and don't forget to check out the DT amazing creations too.
While writing this I've had a lightbulb idea, buttons!
Off to THE BIG WEDDING today good job the idea of a Marquee was scraped early on because I don't think it would have been there this morning.

Four Seasons

There's a great challenge on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge this week, it was Donna's choice for Seasons. Now you could pick one of the seasons or in my case I did or four.
That's because while hunting for a stamp for another challenge I found this branch stamp from Hobby Art and the idea of punching the flowers and leaves popped into my head. it's a great way to use scraps too.
I love those Cosmo Cricket papers and finished off with some chocolate ribbon and a few gems.
Do check out what the fab DT have made they're gorgeous.
