In the twenties
One of my DT is being sponsored by Paper Shelter digi images so I popped over to check the images out and then I just had to have a couple including this little cutie.
I've used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and the papers are from Kaiser. The flowers are punches I think they're Nellie Snellen but don't hold me to it.
I had a brilliant day yesterday and hopefully I'll photo them and blog them soon.

Ginny the giraffe
A Colour challenge is the order of the day at A Gem of Challenge, the colours choosen by Christine is Aqua, Pink and Lemon. I've used Pink Gems paper digis for the pink and lemon and the aqua is cardstock which I've embossed and used as a border.
Then I've used the sweet Ginny the giraffe with matching daisy flowers.
I may have mentioned in the week two of the hardest e-mails to write and one of them was to Pink Gem Designs, I have decided to step down from the DT, I have loved every minute of being on the team and had a great time playing with all the new wonderful designs but I'm finding it hard at the moment to get motivated to even make a card and I feel I'm not giving my best. I wish all the girls best and to keep up the wonderful work.

Penny Black CAS
This week on Penny Black Saturday Challenge is for clean and simple and how I stopped myself from putting something in the top right corner I don't know.
The sentiment is Penny Black as well, a really long stamp and for the life of me I couldn't get the two most important words straight so I soon sorted that out.
Flower centre and bee have stickled.
Busy busy weekend, today I'm off to my friends Nikki first ever workshop and at a snip at £15, already seen the fab creations I shalll be making.
Then Sunday is Scrapbuddies and it will probably take Monday and Tuesday to get over it.

Lets Waltz
Well this is cutting it fine, I think everyone is aware that Mr Blogger had a major breakdown and as totally lost whole day, no wonder this is called Friday the 13th.
So this was post for today, I've used the fabulous digi image from Karendoodles, the papers are from First Edition and the sketch is from Sketch Saturday.
I wanted to put flowers on the card but after moving them around for about half an hour I gave and left them off.
This is the card of the missing post using the A spoonful of Sugar sketch, My minds eye Lime Twist papers and MFT bunting die and the image is Penny Black.
I'm hurrying this post, one cos I'm convinced Mr Blogger is going to have relaspe and I really don't have time tonight to write this post.

Let's go fly a Kite
Well that was stressful, the last hour I've been trying to get into blogger to do this post and I kept getting error messages.
At last I'm here now with a card I've made for A Spoonful of Sugar challenge which is a sketch from Nat.
This could be a new Penny Black stamp and the papers are My Minds Eye Lime Twist which could also be new and absolutely perfect for this stamp.
The bunting is a die from My Favourite Things which I brought a while ago from Simon Says Stamps. The faux brads are back and I expect to see a lot of them in the future because I may have brought quite a few LOTV is was really hard to choose what ones not to buy.
Quick post cos now I'm running late.

WOYWW
Lots of cutting out on my desk this WOYWW, not sure if can work out the images but you will have to wait a while before the finish creation is done.
I've had a bit of mix bag of emotions today, I've made a decision that meant making two of the hardest e-mails to write but deep in my heart I know I've done the right thing.
The upside is I joined Weightwatchers online 3 weeks ago and instead of the last diet online where I gained 5lbs I've actually lost 7lbs of course now that I've blogged about it I won't be losing any more now. But I'm hoping to reach my first target weight before I go on my hols in four weeks and which works another 1lb a week.
If you seen the advert it says you can eat chocolate on this diet doesn't bother me but I still managing to have a glass of vino now again, that is a result.

What did the stork bring
It's a very special challenge today on Simon Says Stamps Challenge, Heidi our boss from Simon Says Stamps is having a baby around today and DT Christine is due to have her baby soon. So the challenge is for a baby card, love the challenge name What did the stork bring.
This is going to be a long post quite a few pics. My card started off as Joy fold card but then it went its own way. I have actually made a book hinge on both sides so that when closed it lays nicely. Both the babies are Belles'n'Whistles.
The papers are Echo Park Be Mine and I've the Martha Stewart doily punch. The embossed lines are using a scoring board.
Click on the pic to make it larger to be able to read the poem
I've used the doo-hickey swirl a lot and prima flowers which Simon Says stamps have loads of gorgeous ones to chose from. The poem is from the internet and printed on the PC and the border is another favourite border punch from Martha Stewart Cherish, the corner is a cuttlebug die.
I've taken out the awful orange bits out of the middle of the flowers and replaced them with pearls.
I used a die for the tag on the back so I can write my congratulations on.
Do pop over to see the fabulous cards the team have made and don't forget there's an amazing prize for one lucky winner but you to be in it to win.
Phew that was a long post.

Flowerpot Bunny
Flowers are the challenge this week at Everybody Art Challenge. I had this little Penny Black bunny waiting to be coloured for a while and this was the ideal opportunity to use him. Now looking at him I wish I hadn't put white pearls in the centre, probably jet pearls would have been better.
The papers are Basic Grey Sweet Threads which I brought from Simon Says Stamps. The cherish border punch from Martha Stewart is working hard this week.
Do pop over to the challenge blog and see the amazing DT creations and we would love for you to join in.
Just after I did my post yesterday morning there was a huge crashing of metal, I thought it was the noisy car and trailer that has been going around lately and I had the back door open so I thought that was why it was so loud. But I decided to check and found that a car and bus had a fight and the car lost. The chap driving the car was whisk to hospital but he walked to the ambulance with a neck collar on so he was one very luck guy.
I know this is a bit morbid but I did want to record the event happened so if you don't want to see the pic don't scroll down.

A card for a Friend
When I saw this digi image from Just Inklined I had to have it, one of my friends has a little dog who is getting on in years and unable to walk too far, so they brought him a little cart so they can continue taking him out. My friend's birthday is soon so this is going to be the ideal birthday card for her.
I've used the sketch from Crafts4Eternity which I have turned to fit my image better. The papers are Bo Bunny I think they're are Peacock Lane. I used the Cherish border punch from MS a bit different this time, the Doo-Hickey swirl and of course the retro flower punches.
Stamp Something challenge is to use a digi image so I can tick that box.
Nothing much happening during the week but I've another busy weekend to look forward to. Saturday my friend Nikki's workshop and Sunday its Scrapbuddies crop.

Sitting Pretty
I should of saved my MIL birthday card till today cos in different parts of the world its Mother's Day, so all those Mums out there Happy Mother 's Day.
I brought myself the cute hAnglar stamps, WOW they are super efficient over there at hAnglar factory cos it arrived in 3 days, I don't get post, posted here in the UK that quick. I love this one of the sailing set and I used a Sketch and Stash sketch number 11. I used the Prima papers again and I just had to use roses with them. I faux stitched everything in sight so I could enter Just Magnolia and hAnglar sTanglar challenge.
I have this set (see pic below) and I know I won't use it again. So they have been ez mounted and I've used them once so if anyone would like them, just add your name to Mr Linky and I will randomly draw out someones name.
I had a fab time at MJ I didn't do as much as I wanted but its always nice being with like minded people. Today I'm back over with my Sis the boys are working, no scrapbooking today I need to catch up with some colouring of images.

For a Lovely Mum
Sorry I didn't get back yesterday to load this card, time ran away from me but here it is. I did find a challenge for a Mothers day card but can't find it now. The boys are a Mo Manning design and I thought this would be perfect for my MIL because my hubby is one of two sons.
Don't you love that sentiment its from Woodware but I was a bit naughty and cut the mum so I could stamp it and fit in a circle.
The papers are My Minds Eye Lime Twist it was really hard cutting into these new papers especially has this pack could be a favourite. The flowers are the EK success retro punch and the scallop circle is stamping up and finally I had to use the Cherish border punch from Martha Stewart with a touch of ribbon.
So I shall be having a great time at MJ All day Crop at Thatcham, MJ does a brilliant job of feeding us and making sure there's plenty of drinks on offer all included in the price.
Finally I finished Vegas Scrapbooking and I shall be working on LA now.
Penny Black Distressing
Kath's been waiting patiently for this distresssing challenge for weeks she loves distressing but for me it is distressing. So I decided to use this fab Penny Black and the gorgeous Prima papers Madeline and out came my Tim Holtz distressing tool and I distress every mat, I even torn the papers. Then I inked everything and I got out my blending tool and distress round the image.
But theres more I punched the flowers using my retro punch and scrunched them up and inked them too.
Hope I haven't distress you too much.
Do pop over and check out the Penny Black Saturday Challenge team we welcome two new permanent members Helen and Ali. If you wish to join us this week there's also a chance to win a Penny Black Gentle Kiss and some amazing seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.

Less is More Lucky Dip
I've forgotten to make my MIL a birthday card although I could use one I had already made it didn't seem right but yesterday afternoon didn't work as planned. Hubby and DS was going to put together the Corner Garden Harbour we brought ourselves but I ended up reading and explaining the instructions. I was exhausted and didn't feel like making a card but after a bit of break I thought I would make a Less is More card.
This week its Lucky Dip for a Thank You or Congratualtions card. I decided I would use this opportunity to use the butterfly swirl from Penny Black. Made a bit of boob and ended up cutting it out and matting it.
The big butterfly is from Hero Arts and I blame that Kath for making me buy the clear set. The sentiment again from an old Hero Arts clear design set.
I though a flat bow would be more elegant than my usual bows. The ribbon is straight because I made a point to make sure it was so the crooked photographer is back.
While I was waiting for the ink to dry on the butterfly so I could cut it out, I used this Penny Black stamp not sure if its ever been inked up before. I used copics to colour, you can tell I need practice. Added some glitter and some white dots and the sentiment is Hero Arts. I consider this as a bit of failure, not really liking it at all. But its important to record it so I don't repeat it.
Hope to be back with MIL card.

It's all gone green
My first attempt using a Fuzzy Moon bear bit disappointed with contrast colour but I seen him done in pinks and blue so you may see him again soon.
The sketch is Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I've used the Swiss Dots embossing folding so I enter it into the Craft Inspirations challenge too.
The papers are Bo Bunny Peacock Lane and if I hadn't used the pattern paper I could've entered A Spoonful of Sugar but nevermind.
Meet the new edition to my craftroom Curly the snake. My DD brought everyone a Cadburys curly wurly Easter egg and didn't realise that they came with a free cuddly toy. So there's about four of these floating round the house and one found himself here.
So the winner of the goodie bag is Paula so e-mail me your address at debby4000craftystuff@hotmail.co.uk and I'll send some goodies to you.

Clean and Simple
I saw a sketch from Clean and Simple challenge on Beths blog and decided to give it a go. I thought is might be a quick card till I decided to use the Hero Arts flowers I brought at Christmas from Simon Says Stamps.
First I stamps them on some Kaiser papers, cut them out and edge all the edges with a brown pen to hide my grotty cutting.
I also embossed them and suddenly the time was flying by so not a quick card then.
When I laid them out they were a bit too big so I had to sacrifce one to make them fit including have one off the page. The sentiment is a Hero Arts clear design that I've had for ages. Now I'm not sure if I like it, probably cos there no ribbon!

WOYWW
Not too much mess going on my WOYWW, the plastic box houses my nestabilities, the xyron x thingy for sticking the die cut corners.
But there is an addition to my Craftroom that wasn't there last week.
Now if you can guess what it is and if there is more than one person I randomly choose someone to receive a little goodie bag with ribbon and some roses.

Simon says Paper Piecing
I haven't Paper Pieced an image for ages and I had so much fun with this weeks challenge on Simon Says Stamps Challenge because thats the challenge this week.
The team are show casing MFT(my favourite things) and I decided to use this little darling, it was bit fiddly but she looks so cute in her Echo Park Wintertime clothes. MFT doesn't do just stamps but they have a brilliant collection of dies and I've a couple of them and they work brilliantly in my cuttlebug including the snowflakes I've used.
Do pop over and check out the fabulous creations the team have created and there's the fabulous prize for one lucky winner.
Thank you to everyone who joined in our Anniversary Blog Hop and one lucky person who hopped to my blog has won;
Bit of mistake not to use Mr Linky cos there's so many of you but only person can win.
Now because I had to physically count I may of miscounted but as far as I'm concerned this just makes it more random so my decision is final and the winner is:
