The Flood

I wanted to record what happened to MIL when she was in a care home near her home, the arrow points to where the home was. Luckily they were evacuted before the river/canal burst its banks.
The photos were saved from Facebook.

I also wanted to have a go and distressing on a layout of course now I wich I hadn't stamped across the right but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Otherwise I think it didn't turn out that bad.

It is a great way to record this memory Debby and love the way you laid it out. Having the clocks shows just how fast the water rose. Rather scary for your MIL but at least they were evacuated in time. x

We have had a great deal of flooding in the U.S. the last few years, too. So tragic to see the homes that are ruined because of it. It is good to record even these tragic events so that others can see what happened.
