Christmas Scrapbooking

I received this fabulous Christmas card last year and I simply had to make it into a layout. There are quite a few layouts on Pinterest where they have used strips and I think I used this technique before.
You simple take strips of pattern paper and lay them randomly down.

I had one piece of a paper full of Christmas words so I cut some out and evenly placed them down over the strips.

I've also told myself to use the stickers more that come in collection packs which I ticked that box here with the mittens, baubles and stars.

I had a great day yesterday at the Scrap Cafe Crop at the Bracknell Hilton, three layouts but each need a bit extra which I plan to do today rather than build up a pile of not quite finished layouts.

I love it!! This design is perfect for those end strips on paper too. I always love this look and it feels good to actually use some scraps!! I have the exact opposite problem when I scrap.....I love piling on those stickers and die cuts so much that If I purchase a collection I always grab extra stickers and die cut packs lol.
