Camping Bear

It's a Man's world over on Penny Black Saturday Challenge so out came my Basic Grey Oliver papers and I couldn't resist using this PB bear again.
I know we all groan when we hear a Mans challenge and I'm no exceptions you are so limited on embellishments which is why I love my MS zigzag punche its perfect for a chaps card and I often make photo corners in a contrast papers to stop it from looking too plain.
You can just get away with a knotted bow rather than a proper one and you have to use a manly colour like red, blue or brown.
Don't forget to check out the DT they've done some fabulous creations and as always there's alway a super prize.

  24. I love this Debby - the papers are just right for a man card. I don't mind doing cards for men because I feel more comfortable with plain cards. I love all the girly cards with loads of embellishments but mine never look quite right.

  25. Wow!! Very pretty!! I guess I shouldn't use pretty on a man's card?? lol. Putting the extra work into the added background on all your borders and photo corners really paid off. It just makes it POP!!

  34. Ace card! I love the image, that little bear is so sweet! I love the mug and spoon attached to his rucksack!

I know what you mean about the difficulty of embellishing mens' cards, it's too easy to be too girly or soppy, but this is just right! I especially like the knotted ribbon, it adds pizzazz!!

    luv, Mags x
