I rode my bicycle

When I saw the sketch on A Spoonful of Sugar my first thought it was a bit complicated but it wasn't. I used the SEI papers Mimosa and of Edwin and Tilda on their bikes, for some reason their faces are looking washed out but they 're not in RL guess I will have to colour them in like they're going on the stage.

YUMMY CANDY
Two of my favourite blogs have awesome candy which I would love to come my way.
First Jacqui, something for every crafter.
Amazing candy from Bev too, would all fit in my craftroom, not sure where but I'm sure I can find a spot.
Headache is a bit better but not helped by Mr Blogger who borrowed my reading list and sent my normal routine out the window. I did manage to finish my CJ entry I really must stop procrastinating and get on with it because it was no fun when all I wanted to do was go to bed and restart the day.

Sunny Penny Black

I've woken up with such a headache and its causing me to do stupid things more than usual, hope the pain killers kick in soon, still haven't done my CJ entry. I have made a card for the fabulous sketch on Penny Black Challenge this week from Beth. This is a new stamp for me but I've used it before because Sis has it but I decided since I collect stamps it should be in my collection plus is was nearly half price. The papers are SEI mimosa and I used the woodware punch for the daisies and because the cardstock is glittered I felt some glamour dust was needed on the flowers.

This cute award has been sent my way by Julie who has been making ATCs at the moment, many thanks Julie.
What have done my reading list in Blogger its has disappeared!!!!!!!!!

Surprise Box

So the challenge on Simon Says Challenge is for anything but a card, so the brain went on an immediate meltdown. Of course a simple bookmark will do but at the time I didn't think of that decided to have a go at making a box I see demo at Crafts U Love. When you take the lid off the side fall down and there a surprise inside. My advice is to decorate the sides first before you do the inside. I've use the Deer with Forest Family stamps from Simon Says Stamps. The papers are Crate paper Lillian. The tree is cut from the Graphically Speaking cartridge on the cricut.
You can see all four sides on Simon Says Challenge blog.
This is what inside, I use Martha Stewart punched butterflies, I stuck them back to back with acetate stripe in the middle. I had to lift them off when I realise I needed to decorate the outside, so the tape was dirty and you could see, so I sprinkle flowers soft over the bottom and added the larger flowers. I didn't add pearls on the butterflies thought the weight might make them flop over. I think I will stick to cards less stressful.
So did you see my news over on Pink Gem, Janet asked me to be on her DT, can't believe it was 2007 when Janet won my first ever candy.

A Tall Birthday

Isn't this chap cute, I've used Jacqui sketch on Whiff Of Joy challenge and Zoe Pearn download from Sweet Shoppe designs. Love the MS zig-zag punch especially if the card is suppose to be more masculine which is why I made the circle flowers but I'm still think this is still more girly than manly. This will work for the Stamp with Fun challenge which is for Birthdays.
I'm still catching up but should be back to normal today and I still got my CJ to do didn't realise the it would take so long to dry.

These three were all sent to me by Caryn over at Glitter me Silly not one but three awards.

This little cutie was awarded to me by Elaine over at Quixotic Cards, thanks Karen.

Sailor Tilda

Another fabulous sketch over on Sketch Saturday and this Tilda has been waiting all week to be put on a card. And if you a sailor you need a boat and which I cut out of the New Arrival cartridge for the cricut. I've been really good with the papers this is out of my scrap pile but I think they SEI, flowers are the Woodware Daisy punch.
This is the card we made over a week ago at the Craft shop in Farnborough town centre using Dreamweaver. We foiled over the raised shape and did the same on some acetate to make the wing.
Here is a better pic of the wings.
I'm so glad this week everythings back to normal and today is catch up day, but I also hope to do my CJ entry.

Sunday Sweetheart

So sometime this morning we will be on the motorway home, I shall be glad when the journey is done because I don't travel well.
So these papers are gone, the very last bits were used for the card which is Friday Sketchers. Now I've a sneaky feeling that they should be circles but I really should print these challenges out because when I scribble them my circles look like ovals. Even so I love this sketch and I used the pretty Elizabeth Bell stamp from SCACD isn't she cute.

May Life Be

I hope Mr Blogger love me cos I've schedule this post, we are taking back my MIL today and although she is a lovely sweet lady I've found it very hard to craft while she does nothing (she has no hobbies) and even though she is very compliementary of my cards I still feel guilty.
My Sis lent me a lap tray which has been brilliant because it means I've been able to colour and cut out images in the front room which has enabled me to be able to post a card each day.
Like this Tilda, she has been coloured for a couple of days just waiting for the right challenge like the Just Magnolia Challenge which is a sketch. I did find this sketch hard though shouldn't have really but I had the idea of the sentiment and everything else I had to try and work with it.
The papers are Bo Bunny and the I used the stampin' up punches for the spiral notebook and the tab.
I'm really missing catching up with everyone blogs feels like I'm missing out but I look forward to when I can grab a mug of tea and finally catch up.

Truly Bloom and Grow

I'm so please with the Truly Scrumptious sketch because it means I've nearly used up all these Bloom and Grow scraps, all I have left is some orange dots and the Turquoise dots left. I'm so please I downloaded this design because its been my favourite so far. The little girl is from StampAttack, I saw them in the CraftStamper and knew I had to have them.

Clare aka littlebear crafts sent me this fabulous award.

And Spyder sent me this one, I do love the girls.
We had a lovely time at Jane Austen house in Chawton but didn't get the cream tea that my Sis recommended simply because everyone was doing the same and we couldn't get a table. I now have the need to put on Pride and Prejudice dvd the one with Colin Firth.
Today hopefully an easier day just popping along to a garden centre and seeing a family friend, then maybe a bit of lunch somewhere.

Sunny Girl

I'm amazed that I still found time to make a card and one for a challenge too. A Spoonful of Sugar challenge is for a floral fantasy, nice and easy then and I've use the sketch over on Secret Crafter and seeing has I can't keep a secret Wendy has asked to be on the DT and I said yes, I start in a couple weeks so looking forward to joining in all the fun.
I sorted out a pile of scraps that was growing in my craft room and I'm determined to use them, this is SEI mimosa and still have enough left for another card, the flowers are prima and the gorgeous Elizabeth Bell image is from SCACD. The butterflies are Martha Stewart and thats the challenge on Everybody Art challenge.
So yesterday went to Crafts U Love I was very good just brought some green bazzill and a few sheets of new papers. Saw Heidi aka The Crafty Goat Girl and her daughter, also there was Suzy Q who looks nothing like her pic on her blog. Then went down to Horsham to Leonardslee gardens but to be honest it far too hot and muggy to do much walking but there is a gorgeous doll's house which was amazing.
Today we're off to Jane Austen's House in Alton.

Buttons and Ribbons Tilda

I didn't realise how badly I've photograph this card, if I have time I might come back and change it. I photo it quickly so it could be ready for the new challenge on Simon Says Challenge which is Buttons and Ribbons. I wanted to use this Tilda since she is new and don't you love the lolly doesn't it remind you of the Fab lollies you used to get or am I just showing my age. Love the doodlebug paper which I now only have a small square left. Can't believe I had those buttons they are perfect colours, they all sewn on, the flower is made with my new punches from EK success, leaves are a woodware punch and the heart border is Martha Stewart.
This fabulous circle of friends award is from Deifen, many thanks for thinking of me but I feel really guilty cos I really haven't time to pass this on.
I feel when hubby is not here I need to keep MIL company and when Hubby is here we're taking her out. But next week I plan to make up for it and today's outing has a diversion seeing has I'm the navigator it should take us past Crafts U Love and this is the only place I haven't brought all their stock of some green bazzill for wedding cards.
Edited, have change photo but it still rubbish but slightly better.

Penny Black Summer

Well time flew past yesterday but I still just managed to make a card for the Penny Black Challenge for Summer. I also used the Mojo Monday Sketch this week they have a monthly prize this time but thats not why I used the sketch so if using it for another challenge eliminates me I don't mind cos it still is a fab sketch.
I've used Crate paper Lillian collection, I brought to use for cards but I'm not convinced I like it now. I chose this Penny Black because Summer means flowers to me and its handy if you have a garden and it would be even handier if you married to a Gardener but no help at all because he does everyone else's garden but ours.
So today we're popping into town to Lakeland cos that where MIL whats to go and probably have a bit of lunch.

Daisy Hedgie

All the Bride and Grooms are stamped, coloured, cut out, edged with ink, embossed and sticky fixers stuck on the back, we are just waiting for the green card that I brought from several places that I know has left their shops but Mr Post Office wants to keep, fingers crossed it will arrive today.
I had a class using Dreamweaver stencils which was brilliant I will try and photo the card we made to show tomorrow. I brought a bauble stencil which will pretty much sort out some Christmas Cards but I think there will be a lot of glitter involved when I get round to making them.
We also popped down to The Art of Craft who a couple times a year sell other crafters unwanted stash, they take off a percentage which goes to the local charity, I did extremely well at Christmas and I didn't do too bad this time, there wasn't any really old Penny Black but I did manage to snap up a few stamps at half the price and half of them hadn't been used, OK I did buy a new one too.
I managed to make this card before I went away for the weekend it's using the Friday Sketchers Sketch this week and some Stampin' Up papers. I've used lots of punches here for the flowers, the leaves, the swirls, the heart border is Martha Stewart and the oval punches are Stampin' Up and the corners are a die cut. Not forgetting the sweet Hedgie which is Penny Black.

Look I've a couple of awards too this first one is from Fern whose cards get better everyday.
Another from Shirley aka Nannieflash who been busy with her Grandsons.
Someone has also asked about my copyright logo, basically I used Photoshop Element to reduced my images and to try and sharpen the image but it also lets me type over the top, I just use swirly script.
So I really behind on checking my blogs did try at Sis but it kept freezing and was so slow, first job to today is to try and catch up but this afternoon we're off to pick up MIL.

Sunday Princess

I've had to schedule this post, so please Mr Blogger be good, this card I made for Whiff Of Joy challenge which is floral and for Cute Card Thursday which is for fruity. The flowers are all punches and not sure if you can make out the ticket but its the freebie stamp from craft stamper.
I've use the Doodlebug papers with bright pink strawberries on, so thats ticked the fruity challenge too. Not forgetting the sweet Princess from Whiff of Joy all been oversprayed with Glimmer Mist Pearl along with myself. Must remember don't spray outside when its breezy or get someone else to do so they can glimmer the rest of the day.

Not Distressing Again

So the challenge on Just Magnolia is OMG distressing, have I not had to get over the shock of distressing from last week. I still left the distressing tool in my tool bag and used distress ink all round the edges, the flowers, the ribbon and even Tilda got swiped with ink so now she looks a bit dirty!
I've used the Mojo Monday sketch and sort of went with the flow, the papers are Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday and I used it for paper pieceing the suitcases too.
So the plan for today is to go to a craft class using dreamweaver stencils, maybe find our way to the Art of Craft and back to Sis to colour in yet more Bride and Grooms still have 44 to go, mind you all the other are cut out and edges inked so they ready to go on the invites.

Didn't have a clue

The drunken photographer is back, I've tried several times to photo this card but it still looks like its on the Titanic and I'm really am sober. I've used Dawn's sketch on Papertake Weekly with some High Hopes stamps from Bunny-Zoe, the papers are BG Granola and the MS zig zag punch.
So its going to be a busy weekend, have a class Sat morning and there's a crop at Mychett but not sure if we gonna make it now and my MIL is coming down for the week on Monday.
I might have another go to photo this card later its starting to annoy me.
edited the photo, still not sure why is still looking a bit crooked but its a bit better.

Tilda singing in the Rain

To me this Tilda is new because I brought her at the Glitter Pot on Saturday, everytime I mean to order her, she was sold out or I forgot and I couldn't justify paying postage just for her.
There is a brilliant sketch on Everbody Art Challenge and I was itching to use Tilda. The papers are BG Lemonade and I use the funky flowers punches and MS flourishes.
I'm dreaming of Bride and Grooms still have 68 to colour but I determined to have a break now and again.
Happy Birthday David

I do, I do, I do

I'm glad my niece didn't see this Bride and Groom by Penny Black because it took a while to colour in and has I love to 3d it, there are several pieces, that even I got confused. I used the the fab Wisteria BG and even though I brought two packs there's not much left.
I've used the fabulous sketch from A spoonful of Sugar and the challenge with Stamp with fun is to use pearls. I've used my new EK sucess punches from Crafts U love for the flowers, I do have the large one too but I think the two smaller sizes are going to be the most useful.
There 's been a new development on the Wedding Invitations they are wanted like next week so far I have 8 bride and grooms ready to cut out only another 92 to go!
