Purple
Well its time for a new challenge on Everybody Art Challenge and not the one I thought it was so if you feel the sketch of the card is familiar you would be right. I've used the one I used for the Wedding card on Sunday but it actually the CLP one for this month.
Back to the challenge this week is for Purple, my first problem apart from the one of making the wrong weeks card so I'm ahead for next week. I didn't have time to track down some purple card but I did know there was a bit of purple in the Echo Park Winter Wishes so thats what I used. The blue was because originally I was going to use the stripy card which had a touch of blue in. In hindsight I wouldn't have added the blue.
The Fence is MFT cut twice once in purple and once in white, the panels were cut out of the purple and stuck onto of the white.Of course my image is from Saturated Canary but I hope Krista doesn't mind but I wasn't keen on the cat so I used the eraser in photoshop and rubbed it out!
I try to resist the pearls it was incredible hard and in the end I had to add them. Do pop over to see the rest of the teams gorgeous creations.
I actually quite concerned of my senior moments I've actually done the wrong challenge for another DT, so there has to be a third!

Christmas journal
Time to show a few more pages of my Christmas Journal, which I now finding hard going when so much has happened the last few weeks and I wish to Scrapbook. So I've made the decision that once I get to the big day I take a break from it.
Cowboy
So pleased my camera behaved NOT some how the colours of my cowboy are a bit off and looks like it doesn't match the papers, bad camera.
I hope you can image that the pinky brown is actual more brown than red. The next few weeks you should see a few mens cards cos I've got to make a few ready for next month which is not only Father's Day but its my Dad's birthday and a couple special mens birthdays so the plan is to make them in plenty of time so there's not pressure to make them the week before.
My cowboy is from Paper Shelter and he has been waiting an absolute age to be made in a card, the papers are Kaiser. The sketch has long past it challenge date.
I've used Martha Stewart Zig Zag and Picket Fence punches, stars are Nestabilities and Simon Says Stamps.
I made my card yesterday it was a bit CAS for me and I cheated with the sketch but you only have to wait till tomorrow. The rest of the day was finishing my crochet shawl which I shall get hubby to take a picture of me wearing it,pity I didn't finish it in time of the wedding.

Verity and Christopher
Be prepared for a long post its been a busy couple of days. So here's Verity and Chris's card and I know I've used Echo Park Devoted because my daughter has seen this card and what's me to make it again for a friend and I had to work out where it is from but I don't think I can get any more in time.
The image Tiddly Inks which I think is now available has a stamp but I have it has a digi. Usual suspects like lace, ribbon and the MFT crochet border I may have to buy another its looking worn out.
The hanging hearts and the butterfly both from Memory Box. I'm so pleased I had a box to put it already that I had previously made here.
Well the day went off without a hitch and Verity has made or sourced all the decorations for her big day.
The weather behaved just a wee bit windy.
Bridesmaids bouquets
The reception, every chair tied with ribbon and attached another beautiful handmade flower which were in the garlands as well.
The reason we were please the weather stayed fine was the midget, Verity's Mums car had been restored and it played a big part of the Wedding Photos after which it was whisked off to a friends garage since it needs a new cover which is so expensive.
Then last night we had a lovely meal with some friends to celebrate Keith B's 70th Birthday.
Today I'm taking it easy but I made a silly mistake in the week with my DT card and did the wrong week so I need to sort that out today.

Chervons
Well if you were expecting a cute Penny Black I'm sorry but inspiration and time this week wasn't forthcoming but I did make a Penny Black card using Gossamer.
I was trying to make a quick card so stamping on patterned card stock then cutting out wasn't that quick luckily the sketch made it easy.
I used the Freshly Made Sketch and some leftover papers I couldn't throw away although the chervons make my eyes hurt even the tiny ones in the flower. Not sure whose papers think are they may be Basic Grey.
I had to use the MFT Crochet Border Die well its a must when using a circle, found a LOTV sentiment that could mean anything.
I used yellow for the centre of the flowers to pick the yellow in the patterned paper but the beads are micro beads that are used for nail decoration and cheap. All I need now is to work out how to get them back in the miniature bottle, they went in eventually but not before well it looked like several thousands escaped.

Colour Wheel
Time has been short and I didn't think I make a card for LIM but I was staring at the colour wheel and realised the red and green were opposite so thats a Christmas card and a quick one.
I use the Hero Art sentiment but don't look too close there were some fibres stuck to the lettering made it a bit messy but time restraints meant I had to avoid looking at it, gosh that was hard my hand was so close to the bin.
The oval is the Floral Oval from Spellbinders and my Ivy is a Cheery Lyn which I now notice a piece has come off that bin is started to call for the card.
The poinsettias are Marianne die with gold 3mm pearls, the tiny holly is Martha Stewart completed with red pearls.
Job done, I might make a few of years later in the year possibly around August since that when I start putting my Christmas Cardmaking Hat on.
I shall be dressing up in my finery to go to my Wedding of the Year, Verity and Christopher marry here.
today.
Any chance of a pond and Mr Darcy

Pink and Green
Yesterday was a bit of washout and not because it rained after a taste of Summer, I got to watch daytime telly which has slightly improved now that Virgin has Create and Craft on. So I've had to use a card I have in reserve.
I missed the challenge deadline but I wasn't too bothered, I enter challenges for the challenge rather than the prize.
Haven't a clue what papers I've used I thinking it could Kaiser.
Of course the adorable image is Saturated Canary and I think all the dies I've used are MFT, the Crochet Border, Upsy Daisy and the leaf swirl.
I don't usually craft on Thursday I save today to do boring things like back up the PC but its the wedding tomorrow so no crafting then either. I need a Penny Black for Saturday and I really wanted to have a go at the LIM challenge so we will see.

Things with Wings
Time for new challenge on Simon Says Stamp Challenge
and this week its
Things with Wings
So any card or creation 'just because' to make someone happy.
Not a specific occasion like birthday, anniversary etc ,,, :-)
The team is also using Studio Calico products but thats not a requirement for the challenge just the DT chance to show what amazing products Simon Says Stamps have in their store.

The team is also using Studio Calico products but thats not a requirement for the challenge just the DT chance to show what amazing products Simon Says Stamps have in their store.
So for my card I have used Studio Calico Take a Note so thats the my duty done for the challenge now on to the fun stuff.
Now you all now I love Mo Manning and I use her Digi images but it wasn't that long ago I stood on the outside drooling at all the fabulous images but I had at the time a smudging printer but the wonderful thing is several of Stamp companies now do her stamps, like Stamping Bella, Penny Black and Stampavie all who you can buy from Simon Says Stamps.
So I'm using Stampavie Fairy Kiki, she isn't she so cute and I used the MFT Crochert Border and the Triple Scallop die along with a Marvellous Square from Spellbinder.
To decorate I used the Simon Says Stamp Meadow Rue, cut two out one in green and one in white so I could have the delicate white flowers. The brilliant sentiment to finish is again Simon Says Stamps Where the Heart is.
Now you know the drill to win the chance of this fabulous prize you have to enter the challenge with a new card no backlinking and you need to enter your post using the linky thing on the challenge blog. Also you need to link to the challenge in your post or you won't be eligible for the prize.
Starry Wednesday
Ages ago there was a CAS sketch which stuck inside my head and I finally got down to doing something about of course the sketch challenge had long since finished. To be honest not quite sure these actually turned out like I was thinking.
I used a woodgrain stamp cos I thought the plain card looked boring and then I used the Simon Says Stamps Star Border die, the scallop border is from Memory Box. The star is nestabilities and the sentiment is again Simon Says Stamps All Occasion Banner set.
On the same idea I made this card, the dotter scallop is a Martha Stewart punch and the paper is Stampin Up along with the telephone box. Again I've used the Simon Says Stamps All Occasion Banner set for the sentiment although I didn't use the banner die but make a fish tail one myself.
Well hope that ties us over till 2pm when the new challenge starts on Simon Says Stamps Challenge.

Fabric
Ok I may be cheating a bit here but the new challenge on Everybody Art Challenge is for fabric, I do have some random bits of material but not anything pretty or have any idea what to do with it to put on a card. Of course I shall be kicking myself when I see the ideas from the team and entries.
So I settled for Lace well its a kind of fabric and then I decided I could just put my usually strip of lace and ribbon. So I added some running stictches along a strip and pulled tight to join it into a circle and used it behind a paper flower and added pearl brad to hold it together.
The sketch is actually Sweet Sketch Wednesday and the papers are those Echo Park possibly True Friends.
The little bear is from LOTV and I used the balloon he's holding for the other balloons.
Don't forget to check out the team and their fabulous entries.
Well the Wedding card is done but I've been informed by DD she needs one just like if for the end of the month but I refuse to make a box for the gift she got. I made one yesterday and it was a comedy of errors, it would have been cheaper to buy one but I wasn't going to let a piece of card beat me.
First of all I made it too small so I had to make another but why oh why do I have such a probably with lids. Three lids later I have one that fits so down to decorating and it looked pretty but I used one of the lids that didn't fit why didn't I throw it away.
I also want to say thank you for such supporting comments and e-mails about my post yesterday.

Watering can
Money has got a bit tighter so I barely brought that many new Memory box dies but the watering can was one of them and this card is the reason why.
Unfortunately all the Memory box dies were to big to fit but Simon Says Stamps exclusive dies were perfect. I've used the Harrington Vine and the Meadow Rue, I did chop them up a bit so I could make a spray of flowers and the pearls strands were in my stash already. The sentiment is the All Occasion Banners again from Simon Says Stamps and the scallop border is Martha Stewart.
I've really struggled to feel the love when making cards and blogging so I'm going to take my advice and get off the hamster wheel.
I feel guilty if I put a CAS on my blog because sometimes it doesn't take as long fussy card, to make, so I feel you're not getting value for money when you visiting my blog .Also I want to do other things. So there are days when I feel I have to make fussy cards just for the sake of posting on my blog and I need to stop that.
Don't get me wrong I love people visiting and commenting especially when I'm having a bad day and I get some wonderful comments, it does perk you up.
So my plan is to make cards but whatever takes my fancy.
Which is way I've posted this CAS white card which i love to do because except the actual card the rest is make from the scraplings left over from an A4 card when I make it into a square card. So in fact they're made from scraps.
Well today I have to make a card but its a wedding one and I've been looking forward to making it all week but things have just got in the way but the Wedding ison Friday so it has to be made today.

Keith's Bear
Pretty certain the person receiving this card has now opened their card so I can post it on my blog. Pretty much call this card CAS well for me anyway and add that its for a chap it was best to leave it that well.
The papers are Echo Park called Happy Days and I used The Sketchy Sketch but I flipped it the other way so my fishtail banners were hanging down rather than up.
The embossing folder is possibly Cuttlebug but I didn't pay attention. My little bear is from LOTV and the sentiment is Simon Says Stamps Exclusive die and stamp set All Occasions Tilted Banners.
I made by photo corner by cutting out a square, drawing on the back 1cm lines all around the card to make a grid and then cut across the diagonal and cut out the centre of the triangle. Sound complicated but its really easy.
The seventy was cut on my Cricut and that's pretty much is it.
I had a great day yesterday didn't make many layouts but there was lots chat and laughter. I shall miss the next one cos I shall be flying off to Spain for girly week with my Sister, so roll on the 6th July.

Anything Goes
Well what a great start to the new challenge on Penny Black Saturday Challenge a crooked card. Oh well back to the challenge this month its for Anything Goes.
So I've chosen to use the Friday Sketch Challenge sketch and the papers I'm sure are Echo Park but haven't a clue which since I've only a few bits left.
I've used my scoring board to make the white embossed stripes and a Lifestyle Crafts Whimsy embossing folder for the top half and those little dots in the pattern cried out for pearls.
The Crochet Border die from MFT once again been used round the oval and also I used Triple Scallop Border dies from the same company.
The flowers were made from punches finished with a pearl and the little Penny Black mouse is called Descent but unfortunately I can't find a link for him to buy.
Now do pop over to the team to check out their fab designs and not forgetting check out the prizes too.
Meanwhile I shall schedule this post since I shall be up at silly o'clock to be dropped off at my Sisters.

Make a wish
Something sunny and bright for the start of the Bank Holiday Weekend and lets all Make a Wish for a sunny one. OK that was a bit cheesy but thats what this sweetheart is called from Mo Manning and you can find her here.
The papers are True Friends from Echo Park and my flowers are MFT dies. You know me there has to be a bit or ribbon and some broderie anglaise lace which I'm running out of so my have to have a look E-bay for some more.
Hopefully I shall get into my Craftroom today but I'm packing my bags again to go to MJ's All Day Crop, must remember to schedule tomorrows Penny Black post especially has its the new challenge this Saturday.

Could it be LIM
Now I love how this card turned out but is it Less is More, I think I covered the sketch sort of but do you think my vase of leaves and tulips will pass the muster.
I first used the Pearl Lace border die from Memory Box then I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. Stamped the LOTV sentiment on another bit of white card before putting together.
The vase is made with the Christmas bauble punch from stamping up just cut the top and bottom, then embossed with the Swiss Dots by Cuttlebug. The large set of leaves are Fresh Foliage and the Tulips are both from Memory Box.
I may have made MIL a Birthday card but I've decided I like this one instead.
I did have a couple of more ideas but don't seem to have the time to make them into a card this week.

Technique Tuesday
Time for new challenge on Simon Says Stamp Challenge
and this week its
Happy Mail
So any card or creation 'just because' to make someone happy.
Not a specific occasion like birthday, anniversary etc ,,, :-)
The team is also using Technique Tuesday products but thats not a requirement for the challenge just the DT chance to show what amazing products Simon Says Stamps have in their store.

Now onto my card a bit different to what I usually post for Simon Say Stamps Challenge but I'm using the Vino set, I had to make a grape vine and its a lot more striking on CAS. Not that I want to make it easy for myself. I cut out most of the leaves and the bunches of grapes.
I tried to stamp straight onto the card with the sentiment from Simon Says stamps Exclusive Flower Friend set but made a totally mess of it which is why its on a fish tail banner. Just added another leaf under the grapes to hide the corner of the banner.
Can you believe it I actually love how this turned out.
Now you know the drill to win the chance of this fabulous prize you have to enter the challenge with a new card no backlinking and you need to enter your post using the linky thing on the challenge blog. Also you need to link to the challenge in your post or you won't be eligible for the prize.
Wednesday Morning
A couple of more pages of my Christmas Album to tied you over till 2pm when the new challenge on Simon says Stamps challenge starts.
The papers are October Afternoon, fairly simple so nice and quick. Doesn't my nephew look pleased with his Christmas Jumper!
A close to show that its Purple, Lilac, White and Black.
I'm now using a pattern to make a shawl from a crochet magazine, I've lost count how many times I've unpicked it but now I'm happy how it turning out but not convince its the actual pattern.
