Feed the Birds
I've used this chap for an everyday card but as you can see he is easily made into a Christmas one, also I noticed that you could easily colour the coat etc in pink if you wanted a more girly image.
Talking about the image its another one of Mo's called Feed the Birds and I have coloured the little bird in robin colours, well its that time a year again.
The papers are either Echo Park or Carta Bella but they old ones and I only have a few bits left. The sentiment is an old Craftwork card one that I found when I had to take some things out of a broken drawer for Hubby to fix and found them hiding there!
I cut the mini Lawn Fawn Snowflakes in foam to say me from layering.

This week the challenge is Anything Goes
We are showcasing Sunny Studios this week, which just so happens to be Simon says Stamp Brand of the Month. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the challenge Blog. You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your crafty makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
I've used the fabulous Sunny Studio Frilly Frames Polka Dots and once I added the sweet Fall Frenchie from Simon says Stamp my card didn't really need much more not with all those dots.
I did decide that this little chap would work for Christmas so I added a sentiment that was from the stamp set called Inside Christmas Greeting personally I think they worth being on the front of the card and not just for the inside.

Christmas Trees
I'm having a bit of confidence moment, I've unpicked some crocheting because it got the better of me and my cards always seem to have something wrong or something I would change. Thats after I continue to drop things and make a mess. I'm hoping by writing it down I would realise how silly I am.
Even this card was fiddled with because I was unhappy how when I photo the sentiment doesn't look straight, its actually crooked and as soon as I took the picture I made it straight again!
The trees are a Memory Box die called Alpine Trees and I stamped the sentiment using Simon says Stamp Inside Christmas Greetings.
I splattered some dark blue card with white paint, I do have the Tim Holtz Splatter Brush which I would use if I could remember where I put it!
I cut the Simon says Stamp Stitched Snowflakes with some glitter card.

For Easton
A little boy turned two last Sunday and he had a Toy Story theme party, it helps if Mum and Dad are huge fans.
Now I can't draw so an actual Woody wasn't going to happen so I chose Mo's Sherriff for my main image. The papers are Echo Park Hello Baby its a Boy, my zigzag is a MFT die. The stars are a mixture of Simon says Stamp Holiday Shapes and MFT. Pretty much it after all he is a boy and we know how tricky those cards are.
I've counted up my Christmas cards and I find only 50% there so I really need to get my act together and do some conveyor belt crafting.

Thank you for joining us last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is Fall/Autumn
We are showcasing Honey Bee Products this week, which just so happens to be Simon says Stamp Brand of the Month. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! I happily made a card for the challenge and found I made one for two weeks time, no I not giving the heads up what that challenge is. Luckily I had time to make another for this week but when you see my card in two weeks time you know where the inspiration came from for this card.
I die cut my square using Simon says Stamp Stitched Squares using the HoneyBee Great Outdoors 6inch patterned paper pad. It also has a dark blue patterns so perfect for a mans card.
I then stamped my Fall Frenchie from Simon says Stamp and die cut a circle with their Stitched Circles, once in placed a layered him.
Finally a Tiny Word Birthday sentiment with Simon says Stamp Stitched Banners.

Snowy Chums
Yay I found a card I haven't posted, Lily of Valley Digi Stamp of Snowy Chums, this time I used a white pen for my snow. Its OK but I think I prefer white paint so I've saved a cardboard box the plan is to use that instead of all over me and the craftroom. It's not like I can do outside, all it seems doing at the moment is rain.
Papers are some old Echo Park Winter ones mainly left over bits. The sentiment is Simon says Stamp Inside Christmas Greetings. Now since my little penguin is holding mistletoe it was only right to put some mistletoe on my card. I've used an old Penny Black which I had to snip where it didn't fit on the card but it meant I could use a bit of the waste for a little bit on top of the sentiment.
I had a quiet day for my Birthday, Fridays is swimming in the morning and while good for my joints it does leave me shattered so a bit of craft spending, well it is my Birthday. I brought them from UK so if the Postman loves me should be here tomorrow or Monday.

Crochet Update
Didn't realise I havent done a crochet update for a while and since I've been recovering from the weekend retreat no cards as been made this week, no I lie I made a DT card for next weeks challenge then discovered it was the wrong challenge. ( In fact its for 3weeks time!)
First off is my Sacred Space Blanket, it turn out much larger than the Lost Garden and was pretty heavy the last rows.
I made cushion with the flower squares which are Crocodile Stitch Afghan square, what I had forgotten about was that the later rows you grabbed the top of the petal so they laid down. I made my square small so they curled up and since the wool was acylic I was prepared to heat blocking. I worked in a wool shop and seen many an item where folks had tumbled dried or ironed their garment and not ready the care instructions.
Lost my way a bit with the Life Inspired Cal that is published in the Crochet Now. I have missed out a whole square mainly because I couldn't get it to straighten. After trying several times I decided lif is too short and since I had made 4 square instead of 3 I could easily forget about it.
I've order some more wool from Wool Warehouse this time in Aran and I plan to make myself a cardigan. Its called Sunday Funday by Iron Lamb and although I made myself a cotton jumper with squares which was too small but now fits me since losing weight. I 'm not very confident in making garments so we will see.
Meanwhile my Scrappy Blanket Square pile is growing. The pattern is the first four rows of a Jan Eaton's 200 Crochet Block Pattern.

Beary Merry Christmas
There are a certain amount of Mo's Christmas Images that have to be used each year, Beary Merry Christmas is one of those.
The papers are old Echo Park winter ones, hopefully their new ones are winging their way across the atlantic from Simon says Stamp. Would really love some untradition colours like Doodle Bug did a few years back.
I printed there sentiment, it comes with the image and I made it the size to fit the old Oval punches from Stampin Up. My frill round my image mat is My Favourite Things Crochet Border, you have to snip between shape and you can join up one ends without it being obvious. There will always been one end that doesn't fit but this can be easily hidden by flower or sentiment.
I was thinking to use some snowflakes but the background is busy enough without me adding to it.

Stargazing
If you make a sky background protect your workspace, I now have snowfalling everywhere. Why on earth did I think I wouldn't make a mess spattering snow!
I'm using the gorgeous LOTV elephant Stargazing. I cut out the trees and since I layer the elephant, this didn't cause me any problems.
The sentiement is Simon say Stamp Inside Christmas Greeting, along with their Poinsettia Parade die.

Prayers
It's a brand new release called Cheer and Joy from Simon says Stamp and they very kindly sent me this new word die perfect for Thinking of you card.
Which is why I kept my card black and white. Stamping and fussy cutting the flowers from their Thankful Flowers stamp set.
Having the die just makes a perfect finishing touch.
I'm away from today if I get time I will link the word die with links to the release too but I've had to schedule this post.

Little Elf Kit
Yes I'm still got Christmas on my mind and using some of my favourite like Mo's Little Elf Kit. I'm also using some old Doodlebug Christmas Papers, I need to buy some more Christmas papers as I don't seemed to have many nice ones.
The tree is an Impression Obession die which works will with scraps. The sentiment is Creative Expression that I brought from Crafts U Love that my Sister took me to a few weeks back.

Christmas
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Thank you for joining us last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is Christmas
We are showcasing Neat and Tangled this week, which just so happens to be Simon says Stamp Brand of the Month. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I was in two minds whether to use the Simon says Stamp Poinseitta Parade or leave it plain, in the end the pointsettia won.
I love you can use this Neat and Tangled Foliage Frame all year round. I stamped the foliage in green and then using a red inkpad used one of the fabulous sentiements from Simon says Stamp Inside Christmas Greeting. Its too nice to be hidden inside a card!

No colour Poinsettia
I've had this card for weeks in my draft well the one below but I was unhappy about the coloured centres. Then I saw someone had made a very similar card on Instagram but had popped a red sequin in the middle and it looked so much better. So I stopped being a skin flint and put a load of gold pearls for the centre and it looks so much better.
The background stamp is Simon says Stamp Poinsettia Background stamp which I stamped in red. The sentiment is their Tiny Word Christmas that I stamped in white ten embossed it with WOW white opaque.
This is the card with the one with the centres coloured.

Mo's Autumn Challenge
Another month, another Mo's Digital Pencil challenge this one is Inspired by an beautiful Autumn photo. I thought Fierce Fairy Frankie would work as an Autumn fairy and I'm pretty please how she turned out.
I inked the image mat and splattered dots before I 3d layered her. Using Oxides I made some Autumn coloured papers to cut some leaves out which I think could be Tim Holtz ones.
The Lawn Fawn Scallop Rectangles helps to double mat the main image which I had cut out using Simon says Stamp Stitched Rectangles. Papers are Echo Park but can't remember if they are the new ones or old.

Bunnie's Christmas
Lily of the Valley Digi Stamps had some new Christmas images a few weeks ago, of course some just happened to fall in my virtual basket and was downloaded straight away.
These bunnies are my favourite, I cut the snow part and found a dotty patterned paper for my snowy background then I 3d layered them. For a change I got out Spellbinders Floral Oval even though they don't make it anymore I haven't seen anything that can beat it yet.
The Holly is the Martha Stewart punch still going strong and the sentiment is using Simon says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas.
I really must get the box out holding all the Christmas cards I've made so far just so I can count them and see how many I have still to make. At least they all have inserts one job I won't have to do later.

Merry Christmouse
Now that its October my first thought will be Christmas since I have about 100 to make, will have to check how many I've done so far.
I love that Mo's Merry Christmouse is fairly quick to colour and layer. Add the Simon says Stamp Candy Cane die matching the one the mouse is holding it didn't really need much else.
I have a new Christmas sentiment set it's Simon says Stamp Inside Christmas Greetings, not sure why you want to hide them inside the card. This is one of many and I think it will be the annoying one that may get used several times up to Christmas.
The papers are last years Lawn Fawn.

Think Pink
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Thank you for joining us last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is Think Pink
We are showcasing Pink and Main this week, which just so happens to be Simon says Stamp Brand of the Month. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your crafty makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
I love flower dies so when it was chosen to use Pink and Main as this weeks showcase I had to have their MUMs.
I decided to edge the petals in pink rather than have pink flowers and try to match the ink with pink cardstock.
I blended some ink along one side and a bit along the bottom, while my scrap paper was hiding the white I also stamped the Simon say Stamp Background Leaves stamp in the same ink.
To finish I used the fabulous Simon says Stamp Sketched Flowers stamp set for the swirly Birthday sentiment.

Happy Sailing
According to the weather I think we will be needing this little Simon Says Stamp boat to get about, we have a yellow warning for a lot of rain. I will be hiding in my craft room.
I actually made this card for a Simon says Stamp Wednesday Challenge only to discover the diamond die from Memory Box had disappeared from the store so it was back to the drawing board. There are other manufacture that do a diamond die, I put it in the stores search and here's the link.
The lines are stamp and embossed using Simon says Stamp background stamp called Waves. I then used blue oxides, possibly mermaid blue and tumbled glass but don't hold me to that it was a while a go since I made it.
Finally I used my favourite Birthday sentiment die especially for male cards.
