Sunflowers

Found these lost in my list of posts, they're using Simon Says Stamp Summer Flowers. I used Oxides instead of actually colouring with pens or pencils.

The top one I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares, a corner punch and finally the sentiment is Simon Says Stamp Birthday Messages.

This time I used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles and Bundle of Stitched Shapes. I actually stamped the background with Simon Says Stamp Good Reading Background stamp but using a torn bit of paper so it doesn't stamp across the whole rectangle, also I used the second impression because I didn't want it to stand out.

I used the Lawn Fawn Belated Birthday set to stamp my belated but the birthday sentiment is Simon Says Stamp Best Hugs.

Love the softness of the second card and the Good Reading background stamp. Both cards are so pretty.

I adore both versions of the pretty daisy Debby, and just the flower head on the first looks great framed and with two of the corners rounded, and then the whole flower with that great woodgrain panelled background and the script very feint in the background which is perfect. x

Both are great cards, but I think my favorite is the second one. That sunflower is just awesome, and I love the background.

These are lovely Debby! Thanks for the tip about using a torn bit of paper for your text BG - I tried to get this effect before but it didn't look right so I'm going to give this a go :)
