ANYTHING GOES !
We are showcasing TIM HOLTZ/RANGER Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would LOVE to see them used :-)
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!
I do have a problem using Tim Holtz goodies cos I alway wanted to do what he can do and its a bit too grungy for my brain to comprehend and it never turns out well. But while choosing what to use I decided to buy Tim Holtz Twigs stamp no reason why it just appealed to me and I probably was thinking of making this type of card.
First of all I had to make my background, punched a circle with repositionable glue on the back so I can remove it after inking everything. I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Ink pads, once happy I stamped the twig stamp.
I did have a bit of an issue since the stamp isn't square and I decided it would work better as a square which is why I cut out the MFT fence die.
Used the fabulous Merry Christmas die from Simon Says Stamps but decided to use both words. Since my experiment with the tree last week with the Falling Snow Stencil from Simon Says Stamps I repeated the trick this week. In case you missed what I did, I dotted the snow on stencil onto the card using a pencil and then used Liquid Pearls to make the snow hiding the dots too this allows the snow to look random.
Now its your turn to join us don't worry if you don't have any Tim Holtz products that whats brilliant with an Anything Goes Challenge it means just that.

Beautiful card Debby, so elegant and I love how you've used the liquid pearls.
I did have a chuckle at hubby thinking that just one little Billy unit in your WOYWW post was going to solve your storage problems lol. Good luck with the reorganising, we have just moved all my stash up into the attic and made that into my craft room as I could barely even see any carpet to walk on my tiny room little craft room downstairs

Debby, you have created such a beautiful and peaceful scene - love the addition of the fence diecut - adds so much depth to the image.
I can't get my head around grungey, inky, distressed and torn edges - I have tried but it's just not "me" - although I do LOVE what other people do. Every time I try, my card looks like mouldy bread or something out of a compost bin LOL! Maybe I am just too neat (?). Anyway Debby, don't worry because you have such a unique and beautiful style and my jaw drops every time I stop by here and I sit here on the couch saying "wow". I really love how you embellish your cards too - something I find very challenging - but you have that special knack of adding just the right thing and not adding too much.
