Fifty Shades of Grey
Less is More is looking for shades of grey and it just so happened that I got my Stamping Up order which included the new grey inkpad and card stock. Also I brought The Wetlands set not keen on the big duck but I fell in love with the group of them.
With the card at the top some blending of the ink and then the grass was stamped and then using a charcoal inkpad stamped the birds. The greeting came from the set too.
This time I used versamark for the grass and the Stampin Up inkpad for the birds, found some grey embroidery thread to finish.
I saw that Jo my team-mate from Simon Says Stamps had joined a sketch challenge called Cas(e) this sketch and I had a go too although I followed the sketch literally. This time I used the grunge set from Stamping Up which I brought for my scapbooking. Did have a problem here I didn't press the random dotty one stamp hard enough andit doesn't show but I still wanted to show my card cos I had used the stamp a jig thing to make my stripy strip and I was impressed how well it finished.
