Sand
The challenge this week on Less is More is for Sand and as soon as I read sandpaper and saw Chrissie's card this was the idea that popped into my head, along with being inspired by Biggan (not sure if thats her name) style of cards.
Obviously I used sandpaper for my sand and the umbrella is a memory box die. I have a thin card shaped like clouds so I use that to stencil my clouds and then it was just a straight bit of card to make my sea.
I used a Happy Birthday sentiment since I thought this would work for a pesky mans card if pushed.
I gave up trying to use the PC yesterday since Mr Virgin decided to play hit and miss all day and since it was beautiful sunny day and they don't arrive that often I spent the day in the garden.
We had a first BBQ and finally the parasol came out. Of course I don't believe it will continue hopefully I will be proved wrong.

fabulous!! love how you created the sand ♥
What a brilliant idea to use sandpaper...hmmm.will have to check out the garage...DH stores his toools etc out there...but it seems to me his left over bits of sandpaper are always folded or rolled up!
This is a great summery card.
We are taking the parasol to the lake today for our picnic and swim as it is 38 degrees and we are melting. The RV air conditioner is working non stop and you can't spend your holidays inside!
