One Layer Cards

One Layer cards is not my favourite Less Is More challenge but I'm not having a bit of paper beating me. This time you have to use three stamps and I've recently re-discovered this rose stamp. Stamped and embossed with white after I used the Stampin' Up French script and before colouring stamped and embossed the sentiment.

This time the wood grain from Stampin Up and the rose stamped with brown memento pad, did think afterwards I should have masked the rose but kind of liked the lines going through the rose.
Exactly the same as the above except with Kraft paper.
One layer cards to me they look unfinished, so immediately after photo'ing the above cards, I redid them, which why the ribbon is not properly fixed.

Job done feel much better about them now.

Hi Debby, thought I'd strayed onto the wrong Blog for a minute ... I can usually spot your cards straight away. These are nice cards and there's nothing wrong with trying out different things sometimes but you do your usual style so well.

Gorgeous cards! I love how you have used the same image and more or less same design, but in different colors. I'm always amazed by how many variations there can be - give exactly the same material to several people and NO card is alike!

they are all beautiful cards Debby, and like you I find the one layer lacks a little something .. .. I invariable add a few extra embellishments or like you go and add a couple of mats! I've not got around to trying this challenge yet, so thanks for the inspiration.

Lovely layout, I prefer the first one but they're all great.
I know what you mean about one layer cards looking unfinished; I've just completed mine for this week's LIM challenge and there just doesn't look enough 'stuff' on the card!

I wanted to send you one little remark to finally say thanks a lot as before over the striking secrets you've shared in this case. It has been certainly remarkably generous of people like you in giving publicly what a number of us could possibly have offered as an ebook to get some cash for themselves, and in particular considering the fact that you might have done it in case you desired. These basics also served to be the good way to fully grasp that other people online have the identical interest similar to my personal own to learn somewhat more when it comes to this matter. I am sure there are numerous more pleasant periods in the future for individuals that go through your site.
