Simply the Best

Well it started with Sketch Saturdays sketch because I wanted a man's card, ideal for Father's day, I knew I didn't really want flowers and I was wondering how I could use the sentiment from Simon Says Stamps when I remember Cute Card Thursday was to use letters or numbers so thats how I decided to use the chipboard letters. I love the sentiment, beware I can see it being used loads of times. This is my last coloured image from last weekend and next time I'm going to write on the card which cardstock it was to match, it took me a while to realise it BG Mareekech.

My blog is a record or a diary of sorts of what I do which I think lately I've forgotten so you may find stuff on here you might not be interested, one being my Cross-Stitch. I'm making the Indian Maiden from Joan Elliott's Native American Cross Stitch, there is also a Indian Warrior which I plan to do too. This is has far as I got so far.
That's all folks for today.

Great card for the challenge, I love the big letters.
Wow that is going to be a gorgeous cross stitch picture. I did the Japenese ladies, well almost I couldn't be bothered to do the edge stitching, put it away and now can't find it!! Took me ages!

Wow Debbie
I love both, must take hours to do the cross stitch. I'm going to post some of my other stuff (I make gold and silver jewellery and lace) on the blog, I'm sure people who craft are interested because we all come to papercrafting through other media, most have done other crafts. As for lessons, We are starting a new challenge called tuesday taggers tomorrow and once a month we are going to post tutorials, that will most definately involve getting messy. There will be a link to it on my blog so why not join us, we want to push the bounderies a bit but we will be starting off gently!
Thanks for you comments
x Michelle

Wonderful card, Debby (as per usual! LOL!). I love the colours of that BG Marrakech pad, so I think I'll dig it out for my next card! And your cross stitch ... WOW! Flipping heck - it's amazing! I used to cross-stitch years ago (...and actually I have many unfinished pieces stored away somewhere!) and so I can fully appreciate the time and skill it takes to make something as detailed as this! Fab card Debby and the cross stitch looks amazing. I think us crafters all dabble in more than 1 pie - I for one am interested! Maybe I should dig out my half finished cross stitch (not as arty as yours, it's a row of cream cakes lol) and post it too - may just give me the umph I need to finish it. xx

Your cross stitch so far is beautiful! I enjoy it too, though I haven't done any for awhile. I have so much adia cloth and patterns in my attic, I really should start up again. Card making just seems to take over, but yes, it is nice to see other crafts too! lol
