Merry Christmas

I did mention you may see this Merry Tree from Simon Says Stamps again. I've been admiring the word cards that use a Christmas item for the O or A, I believe I did this myself last year with the word Snow and exchange a snowflake for the O.
But this year my Son brought me the the word dies from Memory Box well I had a set but the upper case was Parker and the lower case was Classic so he brought the ones I had missing to make up the two sets. This time I've used the Classic set.
So I found some small dotty paper and used the dies to make Christmas and using the Merry from the Merry Christmas from Simon Says Stamp to make up the full sentiment.
Then I stamped and using the tree die to cut it out, I also ran the die through a brown bit of card so that I didn't have to stamp and line up the trunk bit too fiddly for me.

But I can't decide if I like without a mat or with a mat.

  11. Two more super cards, and red and green are always nice. I think both cards look good, but personally I prefer the one with the red mat because it makes a frame and an edge which tends to keep the focus on the image. They are simple but elegant. x
