I haven't scrapbooked since I was on the retreat in March and we then went in Lockdown. I was a bit of mess anxiety wise and I'm not much better now. I'm disappointed in my scrapbooking even then and I really don't think I've really done the photos justice but I've got to put them out there because they were done the best I could at the time.

White Leaves
Remember the white and blue card with green leaves, well here’s with white leaves. This time maybe I went overboard on the white leaves.
The leaves are some MFT and Memory Box. I do love the Tim Holtz floral stamp .

Folding Daisies
I had a strip of this pretty paper left over from the bunny card yesterday and it needed to used.
So using a daisy die and a leafy swirl in the colours on the pattern, I folded the daisies to give the look of the main flowers in the pattern paper.
Finished off with a sentiment die.

Birthday Bunny
I keep thinking I need something else on my card but Hubby says it’s fine as it is. This little chap is from Mo Manning it’s a Patreon image but she as added loads of new images in her shop so I’ve also had a bit of a spend using my coupon I get also for being a Patreon member. Just have to resize and print them out ready for colouring.
Meanwhile I. Using papers from a Simon says Stamp card that I had trouble cutting into love that pretty papers. It’s actually a Pink Fresh one but it’s from a couple years ago. The scallop border is Lawn Fawn and the Stitched Square is Simon says Stamp.

Cup of Tea
I thought I didn’t have a card in my drafts but I do have this one. The image is from Krista Smith that I managed to buy twice!
I’ve used my favourite technique, paper piecing and followed a Tuesday Morning Sketch by using Lawn Fawn scallop borders that fortunately comes in 3 sizes.
The cup die is a MFT die but a really old one that have matching stamps, they brought another set since but the cups etc are huge. The sentiment is a old Stampin Up one that seems to be living on my desk at the moment.

Crafty Update
If I ever did it again the puffy petals hexagon I would go down a size hook for the whole hexagon because the flower does puff up a bit when laying flat.
So my next project is the Eclectic Sweater from Cassie Ward, this will be the second time of making a garment the first one was frogged and at the time I vowed never again.
It will be interesting how it turns out, there was no way I was using 5mm on DK so I'm making the largest size. There was another problem the sweater is made to be quite short and with all my aches and pains I like a sweater to keep the whole of my back warm so I'm making it longer which is the easy part as long as I finish on the right rows.

Sparkly Snowflake
I found this sparkling purple scrap in my scrap pile and decide a snowflake would use it up. I cut from the centre so I had enough to mat a white card. Found a bit of sparkling white for the centre.
The snowflakes are Simon says Stamp from last year and I use their Stitched Circle dies for the frame so I could use last weeks CAS(e) sketch. The sentiment is a Creative Expression which I doubled layered to stand out in the white.

Birthday Hit
I love the cradle stamp from Simon says Stamp but I knew I had one from many years ago. So I hunted it out and found it was a wooden half a card size. I then had to find a stamp positioner (no idea of the spelling).
So I stamped and embossed with WOW white embossing powder for my background. I used the Splitcoast Stamper sketch sc813 because it shouted record to me and used the MFT record die which I hadn’t used yet.

Slimline Gnome
When I brought the Woodware Slimline Angel this gnome fell into the basket too. I've found last years Doodlebug Christmas papers to paper piece him.
I didn't paper piece the beard, nose, hear or the holly. Blast I've just noticed I forget to make his hat bobble fluffy can you imagine he has and I'll change the photo later once I fluffed him.
I kept the card fairly simple just some Martha Stewart punched holly.
I started to panic I don't have a card everyday but I've had to give myself a talking too. This is my blog it wasn't for putting pressure on myself just a way to keep a record of the things I make. At the time in 2006 I was scrapbooking more with an occasional card and sometimes cross-stitch. At the end of the day this is my blog to record my makes of the things I enjoy doing.

Sledging
I had to find an excuse to use this sentiment die absolutely love it. So this little Polar Bear and penguin is from LOTV.
Found some snowflake background for the sky and Simon says Stamp slopes and hills die for my snowy hills. Lawn Fawn mini snowflakes cut out of whit sparkly card.
The sentiment I only cut out once since the red stands out well of the white.

Disappointing Card
I absolutely love the white embossed flowers which is a Tim Holtz wooden stamp, don't mind the MFT banner with a Simon say Stamp sentiment.
I do love my Fern die from Memory Box but as I took the photo I knew what was wrong with it, the fern needs to be white then I would be happy.
So expect the same card but with white fern coming soon.

Happy Cat
I’m a Patreon I’d Mo’s images and this was the image of the month a few months ago. I probably didn’t need the butterflies but I had a scrap of the white daisies paper left so had to use it.
The sketch was I think a mojo Monday one, there’s a new one this week so it might be the one before.
Favourite leaves die from Memory Box trimmed to fit better on my card. Flowers an unbranded die that I can’t seem to find who made it but it’s like my favourite punches and my hands can’t manage them anymore.
Slowly doing things for example a bbq for my sons birthdays although we kept our distance they are so worried about being responsible of giving us the virus.
Hubby and I went to Wisley to be honest we usually wouldn’t go in school holidays but we needed to go somewhere or else we would become hermits.
Meanwhile this week we are hiding indoors with the fan it’s been a bit too hot, no doubt we will soon be moaning about the rain.

Slimline Angel
I saw this Angel from Woodward and knew she would be perfect for slimline cards. On my main mat I stamped her in yellow and on separate card stock stamped her in Memento so I could colour her.
Then it was a case of layering her onto the yellow image. I was in two minds whether her hair was hair or the hood of a jacket, to be honest I think either would have worked.
The sentiments came with the Angel stamp, papers are leftovers and the rectangle die that only just fit UK size cards is Lawn Fawn. With the image this size it needs little else.

An Owl and Trees
I may not have made any cards this week but I do have a couple in my drafts including this little. Owl.
He is from MFT and I made a scene card for him. The trees are retired ones from Stamping up it was only when I went to get a sentiment from the owl stamps did I realise that it came with trees.
Slopes and hills from Simon says Stamp and the snowflakes are Lawn Fawn. Paper possibly Echo Park.

Pure Innocence Christmas
Yup still making Christmas cards. This image is an Pure Innocence one from MFT it’s a few years old though now.
I paper pierced the angels dress and glittered her wings.
Pretty paper EchoPark or Carta Bella, sentiment Simon says Stamp but the banner die is again MFT. Mistletoe die an old one from Penny Black.
I planned to card make today but the brain went blank so gave up.

CAS(e) Poinsettia
When I saw the CAS(e) Sketch last week I immediately thought of snowflakes, I know this was pretty obviously but I still meant I would have at least another Christmas card done.
As you can see it didn't turn out that way, I chosen my pattern paper so the snowflakes would stand out and turned it over to put glue on the back. Saw the beautiful poinsettia paper and I couldn't bring myself to put glue on it.
So insteady I used the Simon says Stamps Poinsettia Parade and made some white poinsettia with silver base leaves to match the silver edging of the card. The fir leaves are made with their Christmas foliage.
I did cheat with the white bar for the sentiment by just cutting a strip, mat with silver and stamped with Christmas Tiny Words.
I actually love how this turned out and it would work out a fairly quick card.

NFL
I meant to post this yesterday and went to post it quickly on my ipad, managed to delete the photo. So I needed to reload it again on blogger before publishing which why I decided to schedule it for today (Saturday)
I made this card for someone who likes NFL he's a bit disappointed that he won't be able to watch any games here in the UK this year. Fingers crossed for next year.
My papers are Doodlebug and I don't have a clue who the sketch for the layout was. The image is a Dr Digi and the sentiment is an old Simon says Stamp one that just about fits in theirs Stitched Banners.
