A New Dragon for the High Hopes Challenge
This week over on High Hopes Challenge, there's a colour challenge, Blue Kraft or Brown and Cream. There is some cheating going on here so I could this fab new stamps from High Hopes designed by Dustin Pike.
I've used the Kraft paper as matting, lot of blue for the sea and bits of cream in the papers for background for my dragon and the sentiment. Then I've used a big dollop of yellow for the sun, I'm think maybe my sun is a touch too big.
The papers are DCWV citrus pack not much left of it now. I've used the swirls embossing folder and obviously a bit ziz zag for the sea.
We had a lovely day at The Craft Barn, loads of various different demos, a bit of something for everyone but gosh it was packed and the shop was so busy. We went back to the shop after a pub lunch thinking it would be less busy and in fact it was worst.
I was in fact very good in my buying possibly because the shop was so busy and hot, also I was informed Newbury is in three weeks and my craft pennies won't have increased that much by then.
