Cosmo Cricket Tilda

The weekend wouldn't be right if I didn't do a card for Just Magnolia but this card just didn't go right from the start. First I coloured Tilda in to match the Cosmo Cricket papers but I feel I used the wrong yellow colours.
Then I started to use the sketch that Heidi has done for Moving along with the times and tried to use a piece of Embossing for the large mat but it looked too much, so while checking the sketch I suddenly read Sketch and THEME whoops what theme would that be.
Well this card is most definitely not Christmas and now everything didn't work. So then I went with the flow, still disappointed with the yellow and to add insult to injury poor Tilda looks a bit under weather with her wishy washy face.
But the papers are fabulous.

Hello Debby,

Love the papers and maybe you didn't use the right yellow, but I think it still looks good.

Each morning I grab a cup of coffee and pop into your blog to see what you've been up to while I've been asleep. You never let me down. Even if this card isn't what you stated out with in mind, I think it's great. Thanks for the inspiration.

I hate it when I've made a card and realise I didn't read the small print about the challenge LOL!

I think it's a gorgeous card though, with lovely colours and I do like that embossing folder, will have to look out for it at Ally Pally

Hi Debby! a little critical of your card today, I'd say! lol I go through this too choosing colors! that's why I just had to chuckle about it with you! They used to tell in me in quilting groups that everything doesn't have to match, so I try to let it go....lol
It's Tilda and she's super sweet, so it really is a delightful card! tfs!
