That's torn it

Torn paper is the challenge on A Spoonful of Sugar and anyone crafty who knows me, knows that I don't do torn paper but I got out my ruler and I torn round all the edges of these papers which I think are Pebbles inc, not sure though. Rather than get Damon the sewing machine down from his hiding place upstairs ( he was put there while the floors were being done) I stitched by hand, the image is a Stampendous stamp that I brought at Christmas in the secondhand sale for £1.50 but she is a large stamp and I couldn't do much as she was a busy image too. I made the shabby flowers because I thought they would work well with the torn paper. She looks a bit washed out photo wise, may have to sort that out later.
I'm now a proud owner of the Dandelion and Daisy stamps, first impressions they are a lovely size with lovely sentiments and all for £5.99, I've also got the Bearly Mine Designs CD and first impressions of that is pretty good too. I know for a fact my ink cartridge is running out and I've printed a few sheets in Quick print and they look fab.

Bev, she is just lovely. Did you paper piece her? It looks like you did, and the effect is perfect for such a busy image. I love the colors you chose. I don't do torn edges either, so this challenge was hard for me as well. Come see my card and tell me what you think.
Blessings!

Also got some PB stamps and that's all your fault (after you mentioned it the other week I went for a 'quick look' as not been for ages, only to find some old ones I not seen before?!! they are gorgeous - hoping will help lure mojo back) Have a lovely weekend. xx
