I confess I forgot the buttons, this is Kathy's sketch for the Sugar Bowl challenge. I had limited amount of EZ mount left so I had to pick my faves from the sheets of unmounted stamps I received lately. This of course is one of my new favourites from Sugar Nellie Home Grown Autumn kit.
I've used the last of Pebbles papers and love how the less popular flower colours worked well with them. I stood the card up to see if there was anything that the eye didn't like and suddenly realised there should be buttons, so I quickly thread up a button and popped in the corner and as soon as I photo the card it fell off obviously wasn't meant to be.

Sweet Belle
Things are not going too well in my craftroom and some things have ended in the bin and a couple of cards, well I'm just not happy about them. Like for instance this card, I've inked the flowers and I'm not sure whether I should have just left them alone. The girl is a Belle 'n' Whistles image and the last of the SEI mimosa papers, sketch is Friday Sketchers.
It the last bank holiday before Christmas, the last summer weekend before the kids go back to school and I need my central heating on cos I was freezing! What happened to the Summer.
So my Hubby and BIL have been working all weekend and today is no exception, but at lunchtime they plan to pick me up in the Van to take me to Sis.
I'm still catching up with the comments while I was away and found Lynda has sent me this award too, her blog is definitely worth a visit.

PB Mice and Berries
A Christmas challenge on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge means I could use this stamp which has been waiting to be inked. It's quite a large image and in hindsight maybe need a bigger card but I used the fab sketch again from Papertake Weekly. The poinsettia is from Poppicrafts but not sure if they still sell them.
Gosh did yesterday go with a flash and I feel I achieved very little to what I planned to do although my secret project is now finished and now I need to send it to the recipient before I can blog it. It does mean the next secret project can be started and I need to do a CJ entry. Phew I got quite a bit of DT work to catch up on too.
Sorry Mary made a boob yesterday this was the award she sent me and Shirley (Nannieflash) sent it to me too, then lovely Caroline did too.

Flights of Fancy
There a fabulous challenge on Secret Crafter, Flights of Fancy anything with wings on your project. Perfect excuse to make butterflies but rather than one large one I wanted to make smaller ones.
So I google butterfly outline and found this image which I saved picture and inserted it Word and resized each butterfly so they were half a centimeter difference starting at 5cm.
Cut them out don't worry about the antennas I use some flower stamens or you could use wire and once cut you've a template for various sizes.
The Butterflies I've used are the first three from the picture below. The body is the largest butterfly you're using, just marking the top and bottom and freehand join the marks with a slight oval curve. Looking at the butterflies now I would probably only use two because its such a small card.
I used My Minds Eys Asparagus papers with a Sarah Kay image, the lace I brought for Hobbycraft.
Here's a pic of the butterflies before I cut them out for the templates.
I'm slowly catching up heres a great award from my friend Fern who has just got a cuttlebug, can't wait to see what she creates with it.
Also the lovely Mary from over the pond sent me it too, Thanks Mary.

Ribbon and Bows Tilda
Brilliant challenge on Just Magnolia this morning Ribbon and Bows, a nice easy one. I finally used this Tilda from the summer kit and the new papers from My Minds Eye Abbey Road. There's a fab sketch on Everybody Art Challenge from Bea, which I thought would be perfect for this Tilda but I did have to move the flower and added an extra ribbon and bow.
Not much is happening here at the moment just trying to catching up with all the blogs and comments.

Penny Black Stitching
I would have finished this card ages ago if I chose to do faux stitching but oh no I decided to hand stitch instead so I could enter this card in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
Their stitching challenge cried out to me to use this stamp that I brought secondhand so was a bargain too. The papers are the gorgeous My Minds Eye, the flower is a woodware punch you have to punch it out twice to get the fully daisy look.
The sketch if from Dawny P on the Papertake Weekly, I wanted to used my MS doily punch but it was being tempermental and I think I may have treated it badly that it might need replacing.

Tilda Wednesday
Yes I'm back to discover that I made a boob and put todays challenge card for Simon Says Challenge on my blog yesterday. I could blame Mr Blogger but I'm pretty certain it was human error, mine!
So what challenge to start with then trouble is I want to do them all so I settled with Just Magnolia with a stunning sketch from the very talented Rach. I wish I could say I've done it justice but I think Mr Mojo has stayed in Spain. I used the gorgeous papers from Cosmo Cricket, various flowers and not forgetting Tilda.
You can see I still photo like I'm on the Titanic and my camera's washing out poor Tilda's face, so nothings changed.
We had a fab time celebrating Pilar's birthday the poor girl didn't have a clue and her face was a picture when she saw us. It was lovely to meet her fabulous family and even with a bit of a language barrier there are things you just don't need words for.
But life is never simple, Spain was hot, not just hot but sweat dripping in your eyes hot, not helped by BA who just so happened to lose a suitcase, which managed to miraculously turn up a hour before we left for the airport to come home. I only had the bra I was wearing and my Hubby had no underwear, our party clothes, nightwear, swimwear and all my Hubby's Tshirts were in the case missing. Scary thing is we're going back in October wonder whose case goes missing next time.
I want to thank everyone who commented and although it might take a day or two I will catch up with you all.

Back to School Edwin
Just before I left for Spain the challenge for this weeks Simon Says Challenge was for Back to School, so I found my Harry Potter Edwin and the books for him to sit on. The papers are Cosmo Cricket and the big buttons were in my stash, the word strip was too. I popped some glossy accents in his glasses but you can't see it in the photo. Fingers Crossed they haven't change the challenge it will look very odd if I did the wrong one.
I should be back from Spain although it late last night which why I schedule this post, so hopefully will be catching up with everyone later.

Little Miss Milly
I nearly forgot this Pink Gem sweetie, this little one is called Milly and its from the Halloween collections and I had the fab Pebbles paper for ages which was perfect for her. I should of put some glossy accents on the toffee of her apple never mind I'll remember next time. It was fun to get out the embossing folder with the spider's web out and I just had to make a spider using the Cricut and he cried out for wobbly eyes. Do I see the zig-zag punch again!!!!!!
Ice-Cream Sundae
Isn't this yummy, Wendy from Secret Crafter sent me some images to try out must say I love this one and must get hold of him before Wendy sells out. I used Domi fab sketch on Everybody-Art-Challenge and my funky flower punch. I really wanted to add sparkles on the ice-cream but time run out and appartly I should of be packing. I used a sheet of BG from the June Bug range.
Waving to you all hopefully from Sunny Spain lets hope it not too hot.

Birthday Party
I can confess today that I'm not at home, you may have realised this, we flew out to Spain to surprise a friend for her 50th Birthday, but I couldn't blog about it cos they read my blog.
Today is the day after and hopefully I'm not feeling like the day after and I do hope its not too hot.
Here's the card I made Pila, I wanted to have a go at a Tri Shutter Card which I found on SCS and it was really easy to make although all the panels are a bit fiddly. I use some My Minds Eye papers, two Sarah Kays and woodware daisy punch for the flowers, not forgetting the Leone Em leaves.
Here's a close up of the first Sarah Kay
Not forgetting the second Sarah Kay.
I'm sorry I didn't get round to blogging before I left, first my WOJ kit fell through the letter box and I didn't want to wait for a whole week before I could use at least one of them, I was suppose to be packing and it was too hot so I'm looking forward to catching up.
Back in a couple of days but if Mr Blogger behaves I've schedule some more posts.

First Card for Secret Crafter
The challenge on Secret Crafter is Turquoise and my this is my first DT card. I just had to use a Sarah Kay I do love them at the moment and this little darling is available at Secret Crafter. The papers are October Afternoon the last few bits I had left which made working out the layout easier because these were the sizes left. I had some turquoise roses too which went perfect for the prima flowers. I used a green olive ribbon to balance the all the turquoise.
Need to sort out why the camera washes out their faces but does a good job of the rest of the card.

Snow Globe Mimi
Look at this little darling that Janet aka Pink Gem sent me, Ok I need some practice with the flowersoft, I used PVA glue for it to stick on and I felt it didn't have enough coverage so I try to stick to some this was when I got in a sticky mess. Sometimes its just best to leave it alone so for my first DT for Pink Gem was a bit of disaster although I love how she is sitting in on the snow globe which was cut from the Cricut Christmat cheer and do you my Icicles, FairyKaren picked the MS punch from Stevenage. The papers are Melissa Francis and sentiment is Stamps Away.
Clown Travel
The Crooked photographer is back, well it looks a bit crooked. Travel is the challenge on A Spoonful of Sugar, so had a bit of search and found this chap. Its a Whipper Snapper stamp but its a bit too large for a normal square card so this is A5 card or at least I think thats what you call basically is A4 folded in half. The papers are Pebbles Lil' Miss collections and I used the fab sketch from Stamp with fun but I was really stuck for embellishments, nothing seem to work so I just punched out a large flower and used the swirl punch for the stem.
Next year my Birthday is one of those with a 0 in it and my son whats to take us on Holiday and where would I really want to go. I've always wanted to see the Grand Canyon and the best way is by Helicopter, so it looks like this is what we're going to do. so at what point should I tell him I don't fly too well. Since we've been talking about it, there's a plan that we should see a show at Las Vegas and spend some time Los Angles perhaps a few days at Santa Monica but things are still in the planning stage.

Blue Tan and Cream
I've had this stamp for a while and at the weekend at Sis I spent the day colouring images which included this one. I coloured the pot blue on purpose so I could use it for the Penny Black Challenges colour challenge this week. The papers are BG Wisteria all been distressed yes I said distressed with some distress inkpad, still feel I'm a bit heavy handed but the images are on white papers and I needed to distract the whiteness. The sketch is from Sketch and Stash.
What is it with Men and flatpacks, if there is instructions why don't they take the time to read it. Usually I read out the instruction but this time I let him do it all himself and he used the wrong size fitting to put it together and wonder why they dropped out!!!!!!!!!! The draws and the unit used the same fittings but different sizes why not work out which is which first DUH.
The draw unit is now together CORRECTLY even the draws work!

Autumn WOJ
Just a quickie cos I'm suppose to be doing something else but my WOJ Autumn kit fell through the letter box and I needed to use at least one of them. It just so happens today is WOJ challenge and they have a fab sketch from Rach. So I used some Happily Ever After papers from Cosmo Cricket, EK punches for the flowers and I had to use the leaf punch it just wouldn't look right.
Now must dash before I caught out on the PC again.

Christmas in August
I've been on here and at the time I looked it said 129 days to Christmas even if I made a card a day with a day off on Sunday I probably won't have enough time to make them all. So I better get started and what better way of starting but with a challenge which is exactly what we have at Simon Says Challenge, Christmas in August.
I've dusted off my Tilda stamps and I just happened to have picked up some Melissa Frances Christmas paper. My poor X cut snowflakes punches have been forced to work again, I treat them so badly (I make them work with glitter card sometimes I'm surprise they still work) Some gems to make it sparkle and the sentiment stamp is Stamps Away.
I've another challenge to do today, to tidy up my craftroom. I can't find things because of the stuff on my desk really must learn to put things back when I finish.

Christmas Sketch Saturday
I was looking for a particular stamp and I also rediscovered this sweet Tilda especially has I had some new My Minds Eye Christmas papers. I used the sketch on Sketch Saturday and the zig zag punch which is fast becoming a favourite. The Poinsettas are from Poppicrafts but not sure whether she still does them.
Ahhhh isn't this cute, this is an award sent to me by Linda aka Pinklilacs.

Sunshine Magnolia
I was sure I had a cricut cartridge with the sun on but if I did I can't find it so I had to make my own, this is for the Cute Card Thursday challenge for the Beach Theme. I used Tilda and Edwin with their surfboards and Limeade BG papers and somewhere under the sun is the sketch from Charisma Cardz, I also got out the stickles to put a bit sparkle on the sun. Not happy with the photo, will try again later.
Another fabulous award this time Julie at Crafty Creations and she has a fab blog candy at the moment.
Talking of Candy Steph at dream2stamp is releasing her new season stamps at the end of month and to celebrate she has some candy including 5 new stamps from the fall collection and if the sweet halloween puddy cat is anything to go by you gonna want them.
So I had a fab weekend, nearly finished the project I started, one more page and the album to cover and it's done. Spent the Sunday colouring in images so I've plenty to make into cards. I've also re-tuned my BIL freeview telly in his study, he is not too pleased with me because now my Sis can watch create and craft in the mornings on channel 36.

Friday Sketchers on Sunday
A friend wanted a card using the WOJ image and I needed a sketch, the new one on Friday sketches is brilliant. The papers are MME and the flowers are Prima.
Having to keep this short and sweet, Sis's PC has already froze on me and I can pop to the loo and make a cup of tea while waiting for a page to load. Oh and Mr Blogger is playing with my line spacing too.
I had some terrible news that WOJ is releasing new stamps that are not included in their Fall Kit and I won't be in the country or near a PC to order them.

Just Good Friends
When I went to look for some magnolia images from waiting to colour pile, there wasn't any, so went I went through the stamps and I found these two. The challenge on Just Magnolia is for Friends and when I saw these two I thought they were Just Good Friends ( yes I remember the programme too). I used Basic Grey Eva papers and decided to use the fabulous skech on Basic Grey challenge blog. With Tilda she just cries out to be paper pieced.
Wow another fab award this time from Caroline, if you have time do check out her blog, the PB card she done recently is gorgeous.

Sweet Dreams
The challenge on WOJ is for Brown and Pink, I think this card is more Pink and Brown, I used the fabulous sketch on Papertake Weekly. Did cheat a bit with middle mat by dividing it by a border punch but none of the rest of the Papermania papers in this pack seemed to work. I inked the edges and used punches to make the image mat.
Trying to get cards done for the weekend since I'm out all day at MJ all day crop tomorrow and the boys are working late Saturday and early Sunday so I'm staying at Sis (with her really slow PC) Hopefully I can finish a project I started ages ago.
