Medallion

I don't have a card especially made for the morning and my Simon says Stamps Challenge card isn't till 2pm so how about another Stampin Up card I did for the Demo.
These are my interpretation of a couple on Pinterest using what supplies I had. Like using one of the two stamping up ribbon, one of my favourite brads and the sentiments I had. The large stamp is a Medallion which is being retired they are replacing it but to be honest I not that keen.

The card I saw on Pinterest  I'm pretty sure had a butterfly or something that I didn't have so I used the bird with a hostess stamp that my Sister had.
I shall be back later with my SSS card see you then.

ATC

Mr Mojo was missing last week especially when I made my DT cards not helped with ATC challenge on Everybody Art. These tinky little pieces of art are 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches and some people make amazing ones. But unfortunately I'm not one of those people although I do think mine is cute using the a Pure Innocence stamp from MFT.
Rather than have her laying around I know you suppose to give them away but I made her into a card even it is a bit clean and simple. Papers I think are Echo Park.
Hopefully some of you are much better artist than me and join in the Everybody Art challenge so that I can check them out and do check out the team too.

My Demo Day

I had planned to demo The Eleanor set from Stamping Up and cut out load of the flowers to save time but Nikki gave me my order from the Autumn/Winter Seasonal catalogue so I had to have a play.
The first was with the Jam Jar and since we didn't take the Big Shot I just had to cut it out. I also slit the rim so I could put my stalks inside the jar.
The leaves from Bird punch and flowers were from Eleanor that was already cut out. The sentiment is from the one with a couple of pretty trees and a few sympathy words. Love how it turned out.
I apologise for my crooked sentiment and Collette told me I should of used the stamp a jig would have been a good idea and I even brought it with me. But the tiny baubles are a stamp and I can see some more quick and easy Christmas cards coming up.

Sassy Snowman

I think you can just about see the Sassy Cheryl Snowman amongst all the bright busy Doodlebug papers and I used Martha Stewart punches snowflakes for the border but you can just make them out too.
The sketch, yes there is a sketch and if you can make it out its from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Went to Scrapbuddies yesterday and started to make the book my Son asked me to do not sure when I can get it finished because another very busy week has crept up on me and I know I'm going to have to pay for it eventually.

Sugar Bowl Fairy

A card for Sunday is one I made using the Sugar Bowl Sketch and of course the little fairy is from Sugar Nellie. The papers are the ones from Nitwits made for LOTV.
Has you can see I love that MFT Crochet border and can't stop using it. I had problems with the little flowers like I couldn't stop using them.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed myself yesterday I finally met Lesley from Grenouille Greetings and my lovely team mate from Mo's Dream Team Julie Catch me Crafting, all the ladies I met were lovely. I loved talking about making cards even if I did seemed to know what was on the retired list from Stamping Up. But somehow I managed to spend some more money after seeing some samples on Nikki's board. I'm suppose to be on self imposed ban!

Daisies

My son has discovered we have ESPN and has taken over the living room so I've been relegated to the dining room where the PC is. So how about another Stampin Up post still have quite a few to go and I made some more today. Again Thank you Mr Pinterest or do you thinks its Mrs Pinterest.

Top Note

Especially for Lesley and Julie who fell in love with my Santa card and tag.
Although it wasn't my idea I love Pinterest.

Sorry

I know and I'm sorry but I don't have a Penny Black stamp for today I really thought I would be able to get one done this week but at last I'm starting to feel normal well normal for me.
So has you know I demo-ing for my Stamping Up pal Nikki while she does free Make and Takes and you have to have sample for people to look at.
So these are a couple I made using Pocket Silhouettes which are being retired which is such a shame. They've both been inspired from some I found on Pinterest. I love the top one makes a change to use the Oval punches for something other than sentiments.

The sentiment was original done using with an embossed oval that I don't own so I used another punch with a matching stamp and of course used my ovals again. I had to use these colours because the two ribbons one  given to me by Nikki and the other is the only one of stamping up I had.
So if you in the area do pop in. Not sure how the my demo-ing skills are like never done it before and hopefully they're not as bad as my teaching skills. Just wish my crafting mojo was on form!

Candy

I think you can just work out the MFT flower die that due to a senior moment I've brought two so I thought I use it for some Candy. I've always got plenty of ribbon to share. And the cute Craters Compainion Elephant it still brand new and I don't think I will get round to using her now.
An extra paper pack slipped in my basket for the occasion too.
So you know the drill just add your name to the blue frog, anyone can enter but no blog candy blogs I much prefer it goes to someone who blogs something crafty now again.

Warts and all

I'm not having a very good week especially in the crafting dept and now this morning I've woken up a silly o'clock. So I decided to get up and maybe tried to catch up blogging but now I'm having issues with my new glasses they are varifocals and seemed incredible sensitive to movement may have to find my old pair.
So my card today well I don't like it what on earth possess me to use these colours, love the papers but I don't know it just doesn't seemed to work.
I've used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and since the butterfly paper was so busy I couldn't bring myself to cover it up so just used some butterflies.
I was tempted to bin it but since it took a couple of days to make it and I don't have any more cards spare to show it will have to do Warts and all.

sketchy challenge

Thank goodness I've a couple of spare cards to post because I'm still struggling. So this little darling was made using the sketch from The Sketchy Challenge. I've had this sweet Saturated Canary for a while ready to be made in card.
The papers are Echo Park, the swirl is MFT Flourish die and the flowers are EKsuccess punches, cuttlebug corners and some gem to finish.
Today I've a dentist appointment that I would rather cancel but since its just a check up shouldn't take long and later I'm getting my new glasses so hopefully I will look trendy later!

Hexagons

Did you enjoy the Simon Says Stamps Challenge Stamptember blog hop, do hope you made a card to join us the winner from my blog will be announced later.
But its time for another challenge and we want to be Soooooo Trendy which means we want to see Chervons, Hexagons or Neon colors on you cards.

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog

So we're back to my card where I've used Echo Park So Happy which so conveniently had a sheet of patchwork hexagons in the pack which I cut the side so that there was a hexagon border. I also used Martha Stewart zig zag punch in keeping close to Chervon.

Once I made sure the challenge element was on my page I carried on as normal. The MFT Crochet border die was used once again and the flowers are a CC die but did use circle punches for the centres. Last of all since my huge magnolia collection was gathering dust I used a Tilda with balloons.

Now you know the drill there's a fabulous prize to win but you have to enter it to win it. Don't forget it has to be a new card no backlinking and you have to link to Simon Says Stamps Challenge in you post too.

Can't find my Stamptember blog hop page you'll find it

Embossed Roses

I don't have a card especially made for this morning but since I've got loads of Stampin Up cards for Saturday when I'm demo-ing with Stampin Up products so I thought I show a couple that I've made. This was with a Pinterest inspiration well with the top one its almost the same but with a few tweaks using a different colour, sentiment and can't remember now if they had used a dotty background.

One of the things about embossing its looks amazing when using Vellum and even Acetate. In this case I used it on vellum  and cut out the top to overlap the dotty paper. I've a wedding card to make and thought it would be fab using  their initials then realised it was Kelvin and Kim.
Anyway back at 2pm with my Simon Says Stamps Challenge card.

Pink and Black

Right need to get this posted pretty quick cos I'm having troubles with the internet but it time for another challenge on Everybody Art challenge this time for Pink and Black. Hope these are the right colours the last time I got the colours wrong.
Time for another Wedding card and since I love Mo's Bride and Groom (dancing) and with the floral oval from spellbinders what could be more romantic.
The papers are left overs of Echo Park not sure whats is called but its a couple of years old. I've also used Martha Stewart border punches of Cherish and Wrought Iron Fence. With just a Memory box die for corner with punched tiny flowers to finish.
Hopefully the last couple of cards are up to my Son's standard for his mate's wedding.

Friday sketch

Pretty certain that this card is using the Friday Sketch but I can't remember the papers, my room is a bit of a tip that needs to be sorted out so its difficult to find anything.
This little darling is from Saturated Canary that Krista has used for fundraising, I simply paid what Krista charges for her images cos I would've have brought her anyway. I've enter her in the Saturated Canary Challenge for dots but seemed to mess the link up and I'm now called dotty!!!!
I did enjoy putting her together with the finishing touch of using glossy accents for her glasses.
Well it was a busy few days and MIL enjoyed getting out but she mentioned last minute how she would like to go to the Lakeland Shop in Windermere it would have be helpful to know before but anyway we made it there with an unhelpful Tom Tom. But its wiped me out and it will be a few days before I feel up to cardmaking.

Winter Fairy Halla

I have absolutely no idea where I got the sketch from I only know that I did get it from somewhere. I absolutely love Mo's Winter Fairy Halla, someone told me he was a boy so this time I coloured him in blow but I think he can be Unisex and coloured any colour of the rainbow.
Oh dear I've used that Crochet Border from MFT again, I can't help it. It works so well as do the gorgeous Nitwits download I think its called Polar Pals but please don't hold that to me.
I love Christmas cards its either Snowflakes or Holly and loads of Glitter.
We should be back home today but I shall be laying low for a few days, I alway struggle after all the travelling but I made sure I've a got a few cards to post and once I demo-ed for Nikki I can show all the cards I've cased.

cherry hedgies

I was rushing to make this card so there would be a Penny Black card for Saturday, it was suppose to be quick but some dopey person decided every layer needed faux stitching and choose a border punch that needed drawing round and cutting out to make the back of it.
But I do love how it worked out right down to the brance with the dinky flowers.
I used the CLP sketch but its just as well I'm not here to post it cos I've never been able to work out how.
Just in case there are some nasty peeps around the house isn't empty my DD lives with us and she is in her element that she has the house to herself but if the BBC weather is correct she will be having a visitor who comes out when the sun does. And since Sister and Brotherly love gets rather loud and sometimes angry I'm glad I'm not there.

Sketch and Stash

Another Bear card again from LOTV and of course those wonderful papers from them too. This time I'm using the sketch from Sketch and Stash.
Yes that is the crochet border from MFT told you it overtaken the Martha Stewart deep doily punch has my new favourite. The new flowers are Upsy Daisies from MFT too. I think I've mentioned I'm trying to use dies cos they're easier on the hands then punches. The leaves though are Cheery Lynne much easier than fiddling with individual leaves.
Love the new sentiments I got from LOTV ok I know I'm a stamp ban but sentiments are essentials right.
