I made a New Home card recently, the house is using Concord and 9th Christmas houses from last year. The tulips are from Lawn Fawn and the fence is Poppystamps and the clouds are Memory Box. The oval is from Simon Says Stamp and lightly blended some colour. I drew round the oval and cut round the outside of the line to give me a backing mat. Sentiment is Altenew is actually two sentiments and stamped at the same time so must remember to stamp separately to get them closer together.

Cone Flowers
A bit of change from Christmas cards needed a card for my sister’s birthday. Now I have the large cone flowers from Honey Bee but these ones from Concord and 9th are smaller and I can fit more onto the card.
I must admit I cased a card on Pinterest since I don’t seemed to have an original idea in my head at the moment. Admittedly I didn’t have the exact background die but any pretty one would do, or the sentiment die but the on from Creative Expression works just as well. Finally my bees have glitter wings for a bit of sparkle.

To Mat or Not
I couldn’t decide to mat or not, the first card as a white mat underneath all the layers and second does not.
The background is Honeybee’s snowflake background stamp reason I wanted it was the snowflakes were on the smaller size. The houses, trees, sweet lamp post and sentiment is all Concord and 9th.
While writing this post I’ve made a decision I think I prefer the white mat so off to do the rest, made a total of five cards using the cute houses.

Slimline Home for the Holidays
I loved the houses from Concord and 9th so I had to stalk the craft shops because I was sure these would rush out their stores.
I was intimidated with the amount of dies but found a You Tube explaining how they worked and away I went. The first card made is this Slimline card. Made the background sky with a scrap of blue and used the slope die that came with the set for the snow drifts.
Don’t you love the lamp post, bit fiddly to add a bit of yellow for the light but so worth it. The actual slimline dies are Newton Nook.

Humming Bird
A card that’s now arrived at it destination. I finally brought some distress sprays which I used for the leaves and flowers of the Concord and 9th die. Still not sure on flowers centres hoped I could put a Pearl in the centre but they are random shapes. The hummingbird was tricky since there was no instructions which would of helped.
My only problem now I want more sprays and I’m reluctant to buy more since I’m not card making as much has I used to be. I still have two men’s card to make.

I've been wanting to owe this Winter Wear stamp set for ages and now I had a reason to add to my shopping basket. My only problem I still not 100% and Mr Mojo as up and left me .
So a very simple card using just the stamp set. I layered the scarves and hat, wouldn't be one of my cards if I didn't.
The pretty spotty paper is Doodlebug Simply Spring and the winter wear was coloured to co-ordinate.

I always panic when we get a challenge that really does challenge my crafty brain, there's a reason I love pattern paper.
I decided on using Concord&9th Just Because stamps I thought it would work well for a background. I had some blue distress Oxides already made up the only onepad I can remember is the Faded Jeans one.
I stamped the leaves using Peeled Paint and the leaf without the pattern I used the pad to paint in the leaves. I sort of decided to use Mandy's flowers and knew I had a pink flower so I wanted to add a bit of pink on my background thats why I used the dotty stamp from the Just Because set with Pickle Raspberry.
To make my card more interesting I used the Simon says Stamp Wavy Border die but I've just discovered it's out of stock but Simon says Stamp Dot Scallop border will do the same job and is now in my shopping basket having decided I can stitch a bit of thread through those dots.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Birthday Messages and I carefully cut a white border round my flower and vase from Mandy's Flowers, another die set in my shopping basket although not in the shop till the 4th August.
I had paper pieced the vase so I added a little strip across my border to bring the card together the papers were from the kit which is sold out.

I didn't realise that the flowers on Concord and 9th You are Here stamp set actually made a heart shape. I brought it because I thought the flowers were ideal for 3d layering.
I first layered up my flowers, I had to cut and layer the leaves first then flower by flower with so many parts it's easy to muddle them up. Then I had to decide how to make an actual card, I was inspired by the Splitcoast Stampers sketch SC679 but used the leaves from the Simon Says Stamp Circle of Leaves.
I placed the leaves under the top and below the panels but in hindsight it would have been easier to use a bit of acetate. I used foam tape to lift the panels from the main card to help see the leaves.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Banners with their Birthday messages.
