Snowbaby

So its sketch time at Everybody Art Challenge and just maybe I've a few too many snowflakes. The cute snowbaby is from a digi from Cuddly Buddly I think its Karen Middleton design but please don't hold me to that.
The papers are Echo Park from last year only just able to cut into them and the sentiment is Penny Black. The snowflakes are MFT and I even doodled round the mats, just a bit of flower soft to finish off the hat.
For some reason Blogger didn't want to post a pic of the sketch so pop over and check it out along with all the fab DT creations.

Its going to be a Pink Christmas

Another Pink Christmas Card and again using Lilyboo digi image from Cuddly Buddly but this time with Sketch and Stash sketch.
Snowflakes are the usual Martha Stewart punches they're working overtime again, along with the icicle punch. The papers are Doodlebug and the gems out of my Stash.
I think its time to count up all the Christmas cards made and work out how many more to make and I must stop making cards that take all day like yesterday. I had to keep waiting for glue to dry before I could do the next bit.

Pink Christmas

I'm amazed how clever the camera is when it comes to changing colours on a card because that ribbon matches the pink on the image and patterned paper so much so I was going to change it in case you couldn't see her feet. Oh well I guess I will have to live with it
I've used this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday and the digi image is Lilyboo designs from Cuddly Buddly. I've used nestabilities for my main mat and the papers are Doodlebug. The small snowflakes are a cuttlebug die and the big snowflake is of course Martha Stewart.
I've made a few Christmas cards now think I might need a change.

Countdown to Christmas

When I saw the challenge on EveryBody Art Challenge was Advent this week I had a lightbulb moment of making a countdown to Christmas. I vaguely recall seeing something similar last year but rather than try and find it and see if theres a tutorial I sort of managed on my own.
I use my Zutter bind it all for the number cards the size of which was determined by the size of my little snowman. I also used more number than needed so the cards weren't lopsided so I can count down from 99. I cut the numbers with the cricut I think the cartridge is Base Camp.
I know I've used the Cuddly Buddly Snowmen but they're so cute and work a treat together.  The papers are from Nitwits. Couldn't understand what was wrong with my Marianne trees but later I worked out I have used my Snowfall Cuttlebug Embossing folder by which time it was too late the tree were well and truly stuck.
Don't forget to check out the team's fabulous creations.
Well my Hubby is now on Winter hours and due to some changes early in the year it works out he has a four day week and it was most odd to have him home yesterday although he did go out for few hours but I did use it to my advantage. The Range has opened in Aldershot still a good twenty minutes away but I couldn't resist and they had some new First Editon paper pads which accidentally fell in my basket.

Snow Family side step card

Well we have a fabulous challenge on Everybody Art Challenge we want you to make side step card. Well I've never made one before and thought this would be really difficult but I found this tutorial here. The only difference is the fold at the front I followed the same steps again. The only measuring I did was for making the mats.
The papers are Nitwits, the holly Martha Stewart and the trees my favourites from Marianne designs but run through the cuttlebug using the snow falling folder.
My snow family are downloads from Cuddly Buddy by Karen Middleton aren't they adorable.
Do hope you can join in, if your not sure check out  the team and the tutorial I found, can't believe how easy it was and I will definitely be making one again.
Bit of a devil to photo .

Bauble Fairy

I hate camera how can my red baubles and his red pants be pink yet my matching ribbon is red. Not sure I know how to rectify this so you will have to pretend that it matches well it does in real life.
My adorable image is from Cuddly Buddly, I think its a Karen Middleton. It works for Things with wings challenge on Papertake Weekly and I 've used sketch 55 at Sketch and Stash where you choose one of their previous challenge.
The digi papers are from Zoe Pearn at Sweet Shoppe called Merry and Bright. Border punch is EK success scroll and dot, the strip is 3 inches wide before punching and fits 10mm ribbon and of course Martha Stewart Holly punch which I have to get out of my system.

A Wee Christmas

Whoo Hoo my internet stayed connected all day yesterday and I managed to visit quite a few off my blog list so hopefully fingers crossed that it stays that way so I can catch up.
So todays card is the sketch from Dawny at Papertake Weekly and I used a digi image from Cuddly Buddly called Winter Fairy, (sorry but I've search the website and can't find her now). The papers are Authentique Wonder and because the papersare  a dirty cream  than white I used a blending tool and Antique Linen distress pad to take off the white stark from the paper I used for my image.
I didn't leave much room for embellishments because I think my image is a touch too big but it does mean it all fell together really quickly.

Blue Unicorn

I saw this Unicorn on someone's blog and I just had to have him, he's from Cuddly Buddly digi images. I didn't realise how many layers he would take but I think he was worth it.
As you know its Tuesday so its time for a new Everybody Art Challenge this week its a sketch, I was going to add it to the post but Mr Blogger wouldn't load thank goodness this card was already a draft post.
I may have cheated with my butterflies and I also turned the sketch to suit the main mat.
The sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs, the butterflies are Tonic punch and Martha Stewart.
We would love for you to join us and do check out the team's fabulous creations.
Forgot to mention my purchase from QVC stamp around the page stamps arrived on Saturday and I was impressed how well my first attempted looked still not sure it would for cards but certain it would for scrapbooking, now I wish I brought that punch from the Glitter Pot now.

Just a Wee one

There's a fabulous sketch at Pink (Ink) Sketches and I had recently brought some Digi images from Cuddly Buddly including this adorable Wee One.
The papers are Kaiser Miss Nelly and I've used Doo Hickey swirl with EK success flowers. I've used brads for the centres so that I could use one to hold the corner down.
My sister rang me yesterday to tell me it was QVC Christmas Crafting and that there was launch of Martha Stewart stamping round the page well that phone cost me about £19 not sure that the stamps would work so well with cards but I definitely could see me using on layouts. It cost my Sister £19 too.
