cards

Here some cards I've made before the holiday, first is Jo Kill little bear with background paper left over BG and the font I used for the greeting was chiller, a happy mistake. The second one I made for Sis as a thank you from Mum used up some scraps of crate paper and some buttons. Next is decoupage flowers from graphicus stamp not the best card but had already given that one to Mum and Dad for their wedding anniversary. Making a couple of sympathy cards at the moment then I must finish the Boys LO. Can't print photos cos the printer seems to scratch the paper its cheaper to get a new one than pay to get one repaired. I have all the spring break photos, two great pics of Tim under the sea and loads of Jake would like to get them printed ready for the crop on the 11th March with the girls from a local LSS then of course we've got the mod scraps crop on the 24th March.

spring break

Theses photo are really for DD and also to prove that the weather apart from two days were sunny and warm. We took hats, coats and gloves and only used the coats in the evening. Have to say didn't like the bridge in Barcelona it had no handrails and I was in a wheelchair with two grown up kids wanted to push me close to the edge to see the sea. Yeah right what they really meant was how quickly I would scream. Theres also a little Irish pub which the boys thought Guinness so I was left at the top of a slope, at this point I hadn't worked out where the brakes were which would of been handy while i continued down the slope on my own while the other three were in stitches of laughter.

This pic if for DD its from the first lot of snow we had at the begining of Feb but blogger wouldn't load it for me. It snowed again heavier this time but didn't bother to photo it.

Well we popped up to see MIL and I popped into WHS brought several mags (rubbish telly sat evening) also popped into The range I only brought a few things but it worked at £40 how did that happen.

New Faces

Yippee blogger loves me again. Heres my pencilines LO, its the one by Elsie Flannigan so I had to do it. I cut out the flowers and some of the lettering. The winnies I cut out and layered. Have to say it does look better in real life.

Popped up to see the girls at my LSS but they were busy elsewhere but Karyn and Linda (I think) were there so I showed off Kirsty Trash book and Giselle Xmas book and Hils christmas tree decoration that we made at the day event in December. Wasn't going to buy anything cos I'm going to US in less than 7 week but they had some 12 by 12 papers including some chatterbox 6 sheets for £1.50 and then I saw some new Stampendous perfectly clear stamps so I had to buy that too. Won't get chance to use them this weekend of to see DH mum. So lets hope Blogger still loves me.

Recycle

Well I've been to Sunny Spain for a week so hopefully blogger is mended and this will work. Look its let me load a pic this is the recycle challenge on Mod Scraps. I used a pizza lid ( now if you a scrapbooker then you probably got quite a few of these) pulled of some of the cover has shown by Kirsty at Scrapcamp Day Event. The used some of the sample books that DH rescued out of a skip at work. They were soft furnishing books. So that where I got the large piece of material, the letters were from samples of leather sofas, the discs were curtain braids that I swirled together, the sacking aquired from Sis who herself salvaged it out the rubbish bin at her school and a nice bit of bazzill. The photos were from Louise who was a zookeeper for a day at colchester zoo. Now lets see if it will publish.

Good Week!

What started a good week went downhill rather quickly never mind tomorrow is another day. Thorpe park was cancelled due to bad weather and damaged to the show tent. So spent a bit on Paperarts and Banana Frog online to make up for it. Sis took me to Craft and Co and spent quite a bit there, then we popped over to Crafty Cow at Seale and spent a bit there, no have discovered that there is a possiblity the show has been reschedule to the 2nd and 3rd Feb mmmmm will I have enough pennies to go now!
Have a huge list of cards to make before I can scrapbook.

Yippee

Yippee blogger is feeling better and at last Andrea heres you christmas pressie filled with goodies too. Now I will have to scan my cards I've made couldn't be bothered if nothing was working.

Good news I have got two tickets for Thorpe Park so more money for goodies.

No pics blogger keep redirecting back to where you upload pics. So sorry babe no pic of you christmas pressie, no pic of the cards I've made. People complain about typepad so not sure if I can move my blog to somewhere else.

On the Wagon

I think I might be back on the wagon. This LO is a scraplift from pagemap Jan 07, they are great sketches especially if your mojo is missing. I used winnie walls and I made the swirls free hand. The pics are scanned images which I've now discovered that my scanner scans with lines down the pics, so when DS finally moves out and I can get the Epson scanner(its hidden over the two seater, three seater settee, but I have to get over the fridge and freezer first!) I got to scan slides I will use that from now on. And it is square its the photographer thats wonky.

I've also made a card, I've been interested in the word cards featuring words like Joy and Noel in the card mags. So I've had a go with words like MUM, DAD and Bro. I finished the Mum card but not quite the other one.

A message for Andrea read my blog tomorrow to see what we've brought you Christmas.

Grey

Finished off another LO but it so grey and miserable here unable to photo it. All this grey weather is very depressing never mind 41/2 weeks will be in Spain and when we come back 6 weeks later will be in Florida.

Eyelets

Well here's my eyelet challenge its an awful picture but you get the idea. Can't believe it was taken in 1979, Tim the baby is 30 this year. It didn't turn out quite as well as I expected but its done. Finished Andi birthday book too but cant show you. Which reminds me I must photo it before I send it.

Sunday

Sorry guys no craft pic dragged off to Town. When work decides what they are doing with me I shall lose my discount and DS needs towels etc for his new house when he eventually gets it, and he wanted some shirts so I got dragged down there to use my discount card plus need some US dollars for DD. She has some christmas money given to me plus her Birthday soon. Which leads me to the little Mini book I'm making for her birthday card but can't show cos I'm hoping DD may be reading this. We also brought some presents the chocolate variety.

Yippee

Yipee I've done my LO for Mod Scraps but the weather is awful so can't photo it yet. Like to photo without using flash and I can't scan it, its a bit bumpy. So this is a picture from 2004 when I got my little room has I call it. Its about 9 feet long and 3 foot wide and before Scrapbooking, trust me it doesn't look so neat and tidy.

I've also been very bad, I've ordered my kit from Mod Scraps now thats not unusual but Mandy has add on's so I usually get the Bazzill add on but this time she has a flourish add on kit and well I received a certain cheque today and my heart was obviously in charge than my head, so the kit fell into the basket whoops! Now the guilt is settling in because sis and I are off to thorpe park in a fortnight and I know I will need money (lots and lots) then the following week we are off to Mod Scrap birthday Crop. Hope this guilty feeling passes soon. (all of five minutes).

missing

Well I've had a couple of bad days but things are looking better today. I really need to get my act together and do something crafty always makes me feel a bit better. Only trouble is I've lost my inspiration I really want to do the competition on ModScraps using eyelets but have seriously lost the plot and come up blank.
Good news Andrea parcel has finally arrived it was delivered by parcelforce not convinced that it hasn't been sat somewhere over here rather than over there for last ten days!!!!! So I have some lovely tree decs for next years cause the tree has been put away. So I have a gold and a red baubles shaped like Mickey hanging in my craft room.
Well I've been on a couple of forums I check on, read the blogs that I read, all I need is one huge push to get me going.

Happy New Year

Spent new years eve with my sister, bil and their friends. Sis made a brilliant roast LOVELY. Came home after lunch of bubble and squeak. Now I promised Giselle christmas book but unfortunately its the start of the Tennis season and I have to book an appointment to get onto the computer, the aggro to get on here yesterday was just not worth the stress so here it is today.

Just a couple of pages that I managed to photo reasonably well but you get the idea craftybanshee has also put hers on her blog and she has photo her pages well.

At the moment waiting to be picked up to pop over to my local craft shop, they have a sale starting today, hope my bros get here soon then to drop of Davids fridge, freezer, and washing machine from mum old house not sure where we are going to put it just got to make sure I can get into my craft room

Trash Book

At last I've put some photos into the Kirsty Wiseman Trash Book class I did at the Scrapcamp I day event at the begining of December. I really pleased how it looks obviously I'm not a good photographer like Kirsty is but you get the idea. We used a cd case, paper bag, cardboard and acetate to name a few of the things we used. We also used pipe ties but I couldn't get on with them with I had them on the wrong way round or I should of snapped the ends off cause they kept getting smaller and the idea was to use them instead of bookrings. Has you can see I gave up and used bookrings.

I've put photos in Giselle's fruitcake book too but will post it tomorrow.

Little Bear

Here's my take on the little bear that was in this month Papercraft Inspirations. He is such a cutie and easy (well it must be I can do it) I have been itching to make him since I saw him. Jo Kill is the designer she has a blog too here hope the link works but look at the slide show some fab cards.

Yesterday got dragged down to Mums to pack most of her kitchen for the big move today. Her flat is looking great the boys have worked really hard to get it finished. She's not looking forward to going but Dad can't wait he's never been happy in that house since the bogus gasmen stole from them. They've got a brand new fridge/freezer so David is having the old fridge and freezer plus the washing machine has the new place has a laundry room, I hope he's house goes through soon I'm running out of space.
