Roses
My Simon says Stamp Card kit arrived just before the bad weather hit and I found some time to use it. Although I wasn't sure what I was going to do. Love the roses from the Stamp set Love Always and the large stamp Rose Lattice Background.
I stamped the roses in coloured inkpads, once in green and then in the pretty pink. Once dried I cut them out and layered them.
The lattice of Roses I stamped directly to one the pattern paper that came with the kit. Finally used the Simon says Stamp You're Doing Awesome die. Remember I cut off the doing for my card I posted previously. I think this is a great sentiment die for someone who are on a tricky, challenging path in life at the moment.
I used the same stamps for this card and I was sort of following a sketch but it doesn't seemed to work out as it looked in my head. Do love that lattice stamp in red though. Oh the hearts are Simon says Stamp Holiday Shapes.
I'm feeling a bit chilly at the mo, the heating cut out yesterday. It as been sounding like it was struggling with the weather last week but luckily it decided to wait till it warmed up a bit. Have to wait till Wednesday morning to be fixed.

Two really beautiful cards x
ReplyDeleteTwo super cards Debby, and I adore those roses, and the rose trellis makes a smashing background, and embellished with the die cut sentiment is a lovely finishing touch. I love the second more CAS version too and the rose trellis across and then the sentiment hanging vertically makes a nice feature, and the hearts finish it perfectly. x
ReplyDeleteHow very beautiful they both are Debby.

Two lovely cards. The rose stamp is an impressive image, and you've made it even more beautiful.
