Ragged Winnie

I sorted out my Christmas box of papers and I found some really old ones, this one is Basic Grey out of 6inch pad but was too gorgeous to cut and use so it never was till now. still couldn't cut it.

So my gorgeous image is from Mo Manning called Raggedy Winnie, I actually printed on the patterned card for my base image and then coloured and fussy cut as normal. There were a lot of bits to cut and I could even do more with her skirt, I might do next time.

Christmas Cards means that my favourite dies are on my desk, so thats Simon Says Stamp Maryann snowflake and their Poinsettia Parade dies, along with their new Pine Needles Trio.

I did cut another strip of patterned paper but I needed of bothered its barely noticable, ribbon and a bow to finish.

I should of been making DT cards yesterday but instead I made another 9 supposedly quick cards.

I've just been to Mo's shop to get a link for my image and found out that there is a Coloured Version not sure I would like to print off several to make my layer image but could be handy if you want to make quick cards.

  2. This is so so pretty Debby and what a lot of work you have put into it with the beautiful layered MM image and the background paper is adorable . I love the snowflakes, and poinsettias and pine branches, and gorgeous green ribbon which finish it so well. x

  3. The colors you used on the image are so perfectly matched with the colors on the background paper and the white oval separates the two nicely. I have to get out my poinsettias and see if I like them as much as your favorite ones; if not, your's are on my shopping list for SSS. Such a beautiful card, Debby.

  9. LOVE the design of this card! Everything is in just the right place. The poinsettias are gorgeous...love the little pine boughs that frame them. I so enjoy the final look of a paper pieced project...very time consuming, but well worth the effort. Nice work!
