New Home


Can you believe it we are now at the first Saturday and its time for a new challenge on Penny Black Saturday Challenge and its for something NEW.
Since I haven't been making many cards over Christmas, I decided to use an old favourite the little mouse on a snail to represent moving home.
The first one is based on a CAS sketch but can't find which challenge blog it was but I think it worked out well. The hearts are a new die from La La Land I think and the papers are LOTV. The sentiment is from Hobby Art the tricky thing was I had split it into pieces so it would fit a square or a circle now with the trend of fish tail banners I needed a long sentiment luck for me its almost straight.


I had two of these images coloured so using a more traditional type of sketch went with this card using scallops nestablilities square dies with a touch of ribbon.

    Oh dear me Debby, as soon as I saw the top card I thought I bet that's a new die and sure enough and of course I need it.

    This is the cutest image, and two delightful ways of using it. On the first card I love the dp and the lovely chain of hearts die, and on the second, the scallop dies, and the pretty gingham ribbon to finish. x
