Doily Heart Boy

This card just didn't work for me I've had laying around for a few days trying to work out how to make it look better. I love the doily hearts these are the smaller once from Simon says Stamps. I love the gorgeous With Love Boy from Mo Manning which also comes as a Penny Black Stamp.
I think possibly the sketch from Sketchy Challenge that as now finished just didn't work for like it did in my heart.

Anyway if you are thinking of buying the With Love Boy and one of the many fabulous new images then now is the right time cos Mo has a fabulous offer at the moment.

Mo's BIG WINTER Sale!!  20% off your digital stamp order

Just use the coupon code 2014WS to get your 20% off.  Sale is good through Sunday, January 12th.  Check often for new images!!
I've already got my eye on a couple especially love the Sleeping Fairy, Missing Tooth and the poor chap with his broken aeroplane.
Today sees the end of the Christmas fortnight and life returns to normal tomorrow, I had hoped to have spent some time craftying but its been hit and miss. Having one of my atypical migraines that knocked me out for three days then it was off to celebrate New Year didn't help. So I'm a bit behind on catching up on the Favourite Five challenge but I have popped round and loved all the Christmas Fives. I will let the random thingy do his work later to chose a winner although the links are not done but should be finished over the next couple of days. Then I will catch up with the Fives of 2013 looking forward to that.
I haven't even decided on any new resolutions although I was finding it hard to be motivated to make cards last year and I wanted to do so much more scrapbooking. So I have a plan that I will try for one layout a week that would make 52 layouts of course I'm behind already need to get my DT cards sorted and have a few cards in my drafts for bad days. I'm also going on a retreat in March so that should help too.
I also hope that when the plans for the outhouse gets finished and I'm back in there, I will be able to use my sewing machine more, so want to try Patchwork. Loving crocheting at the moment another Baby Blanket started but this means less time Card Making so maybe more CAS cards but I'm going to not stress if I don't have a card for my blog or at least try not to stress.

  20. I would have a headache justing thinking about everything you have to do Debby! Slow down girl and have some fun. And I had to smile at your comment about your "outhouse" ... here, an outhouse is an outdoor bathroom and it made me realize how different our english language can be at times.

  31. Another lovely card. I love the background and the gingham on the hearts goes so well. I think we can be too hard on ourselves sometimes, and it sounds as though you use your time very productively, and there are only so may hours in a day in which to be crafty. I'm sure we would all like to pack in more if we could, but life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes. x
