My Two
When I came back home from my holiday I saw Mo had Mix and Match Kids in her shop and there was no way I could just get away by buying a couple so I waited a bit for some pennies then brought the lot.
While having a bit of a crappy day I played with photoshop and mix and matched them. First of all I used my own family to copy so these two Henry and Caitlin are my two but between my brothers and sister we have a few combinations for me to colour. Click onto their names to be taken to Mo's shop.
Caitlin present cried out to be paper pieced and the papers are American Crafts and I think the sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.
I'm still in my CAS well my type of cas but usually you can't see the paper for embellishments but I've used my favourite Lavish Branch from Memory box chopped up to fit where I want. The flowers are a die I've recently brought with flowers on from Elizabeth dies. Of course my all time favourite border from MFT crochet border.
I feel a bit dishearten that my colouring isn't has striking as people using copics added that the camera washes out all my hard work with shading. There is three shades of pencil on their faces but you just can't see it. I'll just have to get over it because I can't use pens cos I can't keep taking the lids on and off messes up my hands and shoulders, like I say I need to get over it.

Such a gorgeous card and so many possible combinations for the characters too. I wish I was able to use primas so just goes to show we all want to do something else, reminds me of the curly versus straight hair debates when I was younger. I would love a tutorial on how you archieve your layering. Hugs, Amanda x
