Expressions of YOU
While waiting for the card for Simon Says Stamps challenge which will be posted at 2pm here's an experimental card. I had a few scraps of paper and the Simon says Stamps Expression of You die and stamp set on my desk.
This is what I came up with, using all the words that worked together and stamped around the You. The papers are Carta Bella Devoted pack and the border is MFT Triple Scallop Borders using the two smaller ones. I know the words are not perfect but I got the idea out of my system.
I'm a bit peeved I spent most of evening yesterday unpicking my secret project that was several hours work down the drain and an awful amount a thread in the bin teach me to count better.
Back at 2pm.

A great idea Debby and I think it works well! So sorry about your project its such a bind when that happens and I think that's what put me off cross stitch as once you loose concentration it is so easy to make a mistake that you don't pick up on until its too late! Not like card making where you can usually rectify your mistakes. Hugs Susan x

This card is so sweet and charming that I had to take a tour around your blog, and I'm so glad I did. I've already learned a new technique, that being how to curve a straight border punch. Genius! And I love how you piece your images and make them appear to be somewhat rounded. I will go explore your blog further to find out how! Count me as your newest follower - there's so much to enjoy here! (BTW, I LOVE your style - lots of layers, patterns, colors, textures and EMBELLISHMENTS!! Heaven on paper.) :)
