Exercise

I wish in hindsight I coloured the squares in the corner all in red and white but my daughter said it was fine and I was too judgemental and what is wrong with my camera. I've re-examined the cards I've recently photo because the sentiments look crooked yet when I look in real life they are not.
Anyway this is card is for the Less is More Exercise challenge unfortunately its one layer week yuck!
Luckily I saw Chrissie had used the PB geese/ducks and the lightbulb moment happened when I realised I could use this PB.
But I wanted to do something a bit different than stamping it on white card which why I used Kraft card. To make it easier to colour and not go over the lines I also embossed the black ink with clear embossing powder and then coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos and just use a bit of sansodors on a clean paper stumps to dab over the eyes.
Ok now I'm looking at it again they look like they're flying home need to put some lines below the wheels to bring them back down to earth!

Love your fab funny image and you've used it so well!

You sound like me.... I examine and re-examine all the cards I make and always think my sentiments/edges are a bit crooked when they're photographed.. very weird!

  15. Great card Debbie, I really must try some 1 layer cards. I won't be able to use my copics though or it will show through.

As for wonky sentiments I've found that if the card has the slightest bend in it when it's photographed the sentiment/layers look wonky, could this be what's wrong? :-) xx

  43. I like your little blue squares. They make the blue of the bike pop in the same way as the red and white ones make the red and white in the image pop. I see what you mean about lacking grounding, Debby. This cow riding her bike with chickens will obviously look much more realistic with a bit of ground!!! Tee hee! I think it's a lovely card just as it is! Hugs, Lesley
