Ship Ahoy
Remember mentioning I was going to make some traditional mens cards for my BIL to choose for his friend, well here's one but not too sure its worked. It looked good inside my head!
There is a boat collection of stamps in the Stampin Up and I didn't want to get it since I had a plate of vintage shipping images from the The Stampman brought many years ago and I thought it would inspire to finally use them.
This was just one stamp but cut out the circle parts of the image as well as the boat, maybe if I had inked in blue colours it wouldn't be so bad but hindsight is a wonderful thing. The wave die is from Memory box and it may be used again.

ReplyDeleteYou've used that stamp very cleverly Debby. I too like that Stampin'up stamp set but like you have enough random bits and bobs to make do. The waves and the knotted string are ideal embellishments on your card. Thanks for the inspiration.
