Robins

 I wasn't going to post these robin, the card is a bit rough around the edges but when you have new dies and experimenting turning cardinals into robins you just have to use them. However it wasn't a quick card those pesky birds are fiddly.

The dies are from MFT and were in my Simon Says Stamp parcel since they were the only place I could get them from. The plan was to use a Freshly Made Sketch which didn't work because they are so big.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps and when it was all stuck I was impressed with the plain white card which is why I faux stitched round the card with a pen. Also the reason why my stitching is crooked must remember to draw a faint pencil line round the card next time if there will be a next time.

A bit of Pink

 I recently received an order from Simon says Stamp it got caught up in the post so took a time to arrive but this plate background die makes a plain card more interesting.

The little mouse is from LOTV and I tried to match the flowers by using a Daisy die folded in half also the flower centre. I can’t remember now what I used for stalks but the leaves are Memory Box.

Although I have made a few cards in the last week they can’t be posted till they have reached their destination.

It's My Birthday

 Another image that as been waiting in the wings to be turned into a card. Although once I put the card together i didn’t feel I could put any embellishments on it. So for me it turned out a simple card that looks busy because of the pattern paper.

The image is a Mo Manning digi image and the sentiment came with it. The scallop frame is MFT and the scallop edges are Lawn Fawn all pretty much old dies so it sure they are still available.

Baby Shelf

 I'm late I know but I load my cards old school with a camera and they have to be lighten a bit (I don't have any fancy lighting gear either) and resized before upload to blogger. Not helped that the PC is in dining room corner and hubby is trying to decorate at the same time I'm trying to do stuff.

So my card is made by using the Freshly Made Sketch for last week I think, image is from LOTV digi images, papers are probably Echo Park but its lost it cover and it seems I only have a few scraps left.

The scallop Frame is from MFT and the sentiment die is Simon say Stamp and I decided on stars because there are stars in the parcel forgot they were blue.

Boys Thank You Card

 I’m hoping this card I posted is now where it’s suppose to go now. I thought it would be nice to receive something in the post for a little chap missing his friends at school instead of a thank you over the phone.

Another Penny Black dog stamp, can’t remember whose paper but the sentiment is Simon says Stamp and the grass die is an old MFT one.

Hope everyone is Ok just wishing for some sunshine all we have had are dark, dank days.

Fake Flowers

 These flowers have been sitting on my desk possibly for years occasionally I blow the dust off and keep meaning to use them. It was only when I saw the Tuesday Morning sketch I decided to make a quick card using them.

Mmmm quick card pushing out the little petal shapes out of die I used took a little while then it was all systems go. The sketch used half an oval of pattern paper to one side which meant covering most of all my hard work so I didn’t bother just laid out my flower and leaves to the shape. Luckily finding a perfect colour match with the card stock and a large sentiment die finished it off.

Christmas Fairy

 I still have coloured images waiting to be turned into cards they are mostly Christmas images. This image although looks like LOTV but she isn’t I’ve had her a while and though I’m not sure I think she could be be Sugar Nellie.

Anyway she turned out OK I would change a couple thing the gold and silver pens didn’t work well for the stars in the box or snowflakes. I used the Mojo Monday sketch and the poinsettia you must know by now they’re Simon say Stamp, leaves  are an old die with CC written on the back with a sharpie.

Rediscovered my La land corners and my scallop border Lawn Fawn with a Craftwork Cards sentiment to finish.

Laughing Dog

 I’ve eased myself into cardmaking by making a simple card. I need a dog image for another card so I found my Penny Black ones and stamped a few.

Luckily the dog I had in mind was mainly white it didn’t need much colouring, this one didn’t get use which is why it’s so simple. I just used Simon says Stamp Wonky Rectanngles, found an old Paper Smooches stamp set with the fun sentiment on. The stars are the waste from Falling Stars background die.

Pile of Piggies

 I’ve had a bit of a tidy of my blog, for example all the challenges are all current and I moved them up a bit.

I also check what drafts I had and I had forgotten all about this pile of piggies from Mo Manning.

I used the cloud edges from MFT and scallop border from Lawn Fawn. Oh almost forgot the sentiment is MFT too. 

Mmmmmm this post also says it was publish so if I have apologies. I have been in my craft room and made a couple of cards one I can’t post till they receive and one very simple but I’m saving it for next week. 

I still not promising to post everyday because I don’t need that pressure at the moment.

Crackle Poinsettia

 Welcome to 2021 although I haven’t played in my craft room yet here’s a card that was in my drafts ready for this year’s Christmas.

I’m sure it’s based on a challenge sketch no other reason to have three strips at the top. The crinkle stamp Simon says Stamp and so is the sentiment. The fir leaves and poinsettia are again SSS but no idea for Holly leaves, I try to keep them in original packets or mark the back with a sharpie but found a few with nothing.

I have to stamp and print out some images ready to colour, I need to make a few thank you cards.
