Falling Mouse

My card didn't  quite turn out how I thought, the idea was sound but I think I would be better blending clouds then making them out of die. I think I will use the die to cut out some acetate to make my own cloud stencil.

It's a long time since I use a Penny Black stamp and I'm pretty sure I brought this little chap second hand.  The cloud die is My Favourite Things and the sentiment is from Simon says Stamp Messages for Everyday.

I finally finished one of my crochet projects the Seaside Winter Blanket from Zooty Owl. Will update later how far I got with Phoenix, Changing Tides and Life Inspired. Unfortunately my daughters stool cover as been put on hold for the moment at least till the Crochet Alongs finish.

  3. Such a cute PB mouse Debby, and the stitched clouds may not look quite as you intended, but nevertheless create a really pretty background, and that crocheted blanket is just so beautiful. Since I have been visiting you over the last few years your crochet skills have grown and grown, and you are now doing such complex work. x

  5. A VEry effective background with the clouds, but know what you mean about the layering, but I'm sure with just one or two it would be fine. LOVE the image and of course your fab colouring.
