I decided to use the Hello Bluebird Otter Friends because I didn't have any otter stamps and it reminded me of the film Ring of Bright Water.
First I made my watery background with oxides and remembered I have some seaweed stalk dies from Memory Box that I coloured again with oxides. Along with the stamped bulrushes from the stamp set background done.
It was just places the otters, two of them look like they were applauding so I stamped a birthday sentiment from Simon says Stamp It's no Secret.
At this point I noticed I had left a sort of white and blue border at the top so I added some Memory Box Puffy Clouds.
Do you use Instagram ? If so please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

ReplyDeleteOh Debby this is so cute, love this card
ReplyDeleteThe otters are so cute Debby and I love the blue watery background you have created and the placement of the three cute otters with two surrounding the sentiment and one amongst the pretty greenery at the bottom. A fabulous and fun card. x
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! Love those playful otters against your pretty background. I don't have any oxide inks, but I love the backgrounds I have seen that were made with them. They have such vivid colors, and they seem to blend well, too. Think Santa will bring me some if I am good for the rest of the year?
ReplyDeleteAdorable otters and great background and scene you created. Love it.
ReplyDeleteYour card is darling! I adore otters and I love how you made the inky background.
