Cake Fun
I've been really bad at posting my scrapbooking especially as I have quite a few that I made at the retreat in March.
My niece gave me some super photos of the photo shot she had with her son, this was nearly three years ago that how behind I am on my scrapbooking. The papers I think are a Simple Stories pack but don't hold me to that.
The balloons are Penny Black dies that I've had probably as old as these photos.
I added the balloon to this page because the will be next to each other in the album. I also added one of my new Sizzix Dinosaurs I think the eye may be a bit too much but it was either that or a blind dinosaur.

Tree Frogs
My Brother in Law used to collect frogs and this gave me the idea for this card. I used Simon says Stamp Wood Grain card which I cut out the part of circle for the sentiment using Stitched Circles.
My frogs are Poppy Stamps Tiny Frogs and they were cut from paper that was splattered with green Oxides.
The sentiment is using Simon says Stamp Birthday Messages.

Spring Cleaning
Although this is image is called Tom Sawyer it reminds that each time spring comes round so does the garden painting start on the wooden fences and shed.
I've managed to get my hands on the Lawn Fawn Spring Fling for the pretty paper down the side with a touch of yellow with the yellow scallops die.
The sentiments are made with a couple of stamps from Simon says Stamps It's No Secret. A bit of ribbon to finish.

I've been wanting to owe this Winter Wear stamp set for ages and now I had a reason to add to my shopping basket. My only problem I still not 100% and Mr Mojo as up and left me .
So a very simple card using just the stamp set. I layered the scarves and hat, wouldn't be one of my cards if I didn't.
The pretty spotty paper is Doodlebug Simply Spring and the winter wear was coloured to co-ordinate.

Spring Mood Board
I was gutted that I was once again unwell to post my Simon says Stamp Wednesday Challenge but I think I'm on the mend and I can get back to posting. We are using this fabulous Mood Board isn't it cute and showcasing Simon says Stamps.
I knew I wanted to use Simon says Stamps Picture Book Bunny and Lamb and the whole card evolved from that. Since its Easter this weekend there as to be an egg somewhere and I used Simon says Stamps Stitched Ovals using Doodlebug Simply Spring.
The sentiment is from the Simon says Stamps Sketch Tulip and I decided to use a brown inkpad since its not as harsh as black. Finally I used the Avery Elle Wonky Bow, there are two bows and this one is the smaller of the two but such a good size for cards.
Sorry folks thats all for now, fingers crossed I post tomorrow especially as I have some cards in the wings.

Butterflies and Blossoms
I was very lucky to receive the Lotus Frame from Simon says Stamp Blossoms and Butterflies, at first I wondered how I could use it differently then just layering on card.
So I cut a frame and coloured the stem and flowers using a blending tool and a couple dye inkpads.
I then smudged some colour on white large enough for green stems and leaves and another piece large enough flowers.
Then cut out another frame but cut off the stems and flowers, this way I had a perfect white frame.
I used the same inkpads to randomly coloured round the edges of the bottom mat. Using a stamp postioner I stamped the sentiment from Simon says Stamps Thoughtful Messages.

Evan with iPad
I was going to give this card to my nephew because he was allowed Grandma's ipad after tea and his bath but have recently learnt he is not allowed anymore because it keeps his mind to active to fall asleep so a good old fashion storybook as taken its place.
First off it's not crooked you know it's my photo skills, didn't realise it looked so crooked. I've used Mo's Evan with ipad and kept to boys colours to match the Echo Park papers.
We all know that boys and mens cards are the trickiest ones so I kept it simple and used Spellbinders Nesting Stars. The frame is Simon says Stamp Stitched Squares and used up some bakers twine.
I had planned on a Spring themed card when I discovered a piece of white card on the photo and its too dark to take another photo. I planned it to let you know that Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge is back with a Spring Theme come and join us.

We are showcasing Picket Fence this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I'm afraid I took the cheat way out and went for a CAS with plenty of white space. I stamped the Simon says Stamp Sketch Tulip Bouquet and made sure I coloured the leaves with some shading but I layered up the tulip heads.
It was then I used the Picket Fence Happiness Belong to You and used one of the large sentiment with Simon says Stamp Antique Gold embossing powder so it would stand out of the green stem.
Then with a craft knife I cut the leaves and added 3d foam square cut down to fit the top of leaves so when I stuck it on a card it lifted the leaves.
The tulips heads were layered in the normal way and I added some sequins since all that white space annoyed me!

Thinking of You
It was sad that I had to make one of these cards recently and I used Simon says Stamp Moments of Grace for inside and outside of the card.
I tried to colour my flowers lightly and layered the Thinking of You die several times to help it stand out. It's quite a simple card.
These are the beautiful words inside and is very true.
Short and sweet post, I'm off to the Bracknell Crop run by The Scrap Cafe today.

Hoppy Easter
I'm still can't decide if I prefer the photo of the card to be at a jaunty angle or straight bearing in mind my straight is wonky anyway.
I think I may have used all my favourite Easter images from Mo Manning, this one is called Valerie Bunny The papers are from LOTV that they were selling cheaply at the Make it Show, it such a shame they are no longer making them.
I've discovered an old template for tags in the days before cutting machines, you had to draw in the curves and fussy cut out. I also used the Crochet Border from MFT another old favourite that I haven't used for a while.
Sentiment came with the image and the flowers are unbranded dies or rather don't know whose.

I decided to use the Hello Bluebird Otter Friends because I didn't have any otter stamps and it reminded me of the film Ring of Bright Water.
First I made my watery background with oxides and remembered I have some seaweed stalk dies from Memory Box that I coloured again with oxides. Along with the stamped bulrushes from the stamp set background done.
It was just places the otters, two of them look like they were applauding so I stamped a birthday sentiment from Simon says Stamp It's no Secret.
At this point I noticed I had left a sort of white and blue border at the top so I added some Memory Box Puffy Clouds.
